We stayed the second time at. Cornell Inn. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The room was nice and clean. We highly recommend the place. The property location is perfect. The breakfast was excellent. I needed GF food and they accomodated it

This is the most darling bed and breakfast in an old home that’s been very tastefully renovated. The service was excellent. Extremely charming , clean with amazing service. I highly recommend. Wonderful location.

I loved the breakfast and eating on the patio by the pond and garden, how welcoming and friendly the front desk staff was, and lunch recommendations from them. The location was central to all the things we wanted to do.

Wonderful B&B inn at the top of the Main Street hill in Lenox Mass. Very well maintained and clean with many modern upgrades. Staff very friendly and helpful such as providing a bag of ice for our Tanglewood picnic. Excellent breakfast out on the deck every morning in the beautiful gardens. Excellent location to area destinations with many excellent restaurants and shops close by. Would stay there again and recommend!

Variety of pillows was wonderful, cosy and pretty little place. Lovely room, easy parking. Friendly warm staff! Highly recommend and Im going again for sure.

Great cozy inn. Close location to Lenox and tourist destinations such as Tanglewood, The Mount and Norman Rockwell. Nice, friendly staff and unique rooms with pretty decor and amenities such as a kitchen. Very nice lounging area. All around cute room. Beware our room was very small - not just in square footage but in regard to access and clear height. Several areas where it is tight to maneuver around the furniture, up stairs, and especially in bathrooms and bedroom clear height. I banged my legs and head multiple times throughout my stay trying to move around and I’m only 6’ tall. The stairwell width is a little more than shoulder wide. Last, there is a skylight with no blinds so we had 530 am wake up calls each morning. Breakfast is included and very good and courtyard is beautiful.

We have been coming to the Berkshires for many years and prefer the charm and uniqueness of a B&B. This was our first stay at Cornell and we were delighted. We had a basic queen room, which was pristine and charming. What we didn't know is that booking on ******* limits the selection. In the future, we will use their own website, which opens up more room options. The room next to us was a huge king room, which is more our style and preference. We now know for next time. Truthfully, the basic queen was absolutely fine. The grounds, while limited, are beautiful. There is a koi pond adjacent to the outdoor deck, where breakfast is served weather permitting. Excellent breakfast. Menu changes daily. It is delicious and abundant. The waitress, Tina, is delightful. She is courteous, pleasant and efficient. Management is friendly and helpful. While maid service is every other day if requested, they do not object to daily service at no extra charge. Delicious brownies are baked by their chef and available in the afternoon. The location is ideal. It is a short walk to the heart of Lenox and a very short ride to Tanglewood, Shakespeare and all the major attractions. Great restaurants are all nearby. We consider the Cornell a perfect B&B with the uniqueness and charm of an older New England inn.

THIS WAS PROBABLY THE WORST NIGHT OF SLEEP WE HAVE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL OR INN. My husband and I booked a night in the Cleopatra Room. When we arrived, our toilet water was running constantly and we attempted (unsuccessfully) to fix it ourselves, but since the noise was loud and the bathroom is basically right next to the bed, we asked for help at the desk. We spoke to the manager Jeanne and was told the plumber would be there IN THE MORNING. This was at ~5 pm. There was more than enough time to get a plumber in the to fix the problem, but instead we were offered white noise machines and earplugs. My husband and I could not sleep at all with the noise, and he shut off the water but the high pitch tinkling noise left was just as bad. On top of that, there were scurrying rodents in the walls that kept us awake in addition to the toilet noise. THIS WAS PROBABLY THE WORST NIGHT OF SLEEP WE HAVE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL OR INN. The $529.46 we paid for the room was an absolute waste, especially considering a plumber could have easily fixed the problem early enough in the evening for us to get some rest. Seems like they chose to avoid paying a plumber's evening rates instead of putting guest's comfort first.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The Inn is adorable. They have 3 buildings, all close to each other. The main building, the Carriage House, and the Kerouac House. My room was in the Kerouac house facing the back and had a porch. It had great natural light, was quiet, and was a good size. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. Note that the Kerouac House was built in 1777 - it is old! But it is very well maintained. The staircase is narrow and steep so if you have mobility issues, I recommend calling and asking which rooms would be suitable. The daily free breakfast was terrific. It is not a buffet - it is served at a table and you select from a menu. The staff is very helpful. The location cant be beat - a 10-15 minute walk or a 3-5 minute drive to the main ***** of town. Every room at this property is different and is priced differently - so if you want something specific (a desk, a porch, certain size bed, etc.) then read the descriptions carefully or call the front desk. I would definitely stay here again!
