This was one of my favourite hostels I've stayed in in China. Although it takes a little while to go up all the steps, this is the beauty of the town - it's all on a hill! And the views are amazing. I loved how the amenities were on the outside balcony - there was even a home gym! I went during the off season so there was no-one else, but it seemed very friendly vibes given all the other amenities, like the piano and guitar downstairs. As it was the off-season there was no reception person which meant I did find it a bit hard to get in or ask people for help but they were very responsive on trip.com and the neighbours were friendly (although the big dog downstairs didn't seem to like me). Be warned in the winter most of rural Guizhou doesn't have central heating however they provide heated sheets for you which was lovely. Overall DEFINITELY recommend.

We found a vey nice scenery from this hotel and it not very far to walk from the ancient street, I love to stay here cos cos it had nice view from the common balcony.

The room was fantastic, clean and big enough and the location of the hotel is in the tipical narrow streets going upstairs from the commercial street.
Bad things: The bed was very big but the duvet was really small, it didn't cover the whole bed, Other bad thing is that they have a dog that barks a lot during the night.

The hostel is a bit difficult to find but luckily the owner found us on the way. The view from the roof and lobby is amazing. The coffee is really good and inexpensive. The room is small, but fine for the price you pay. It would be great to have AC. It is well equipped with sprinklers. The toilet facilities are rudimentary and could use some update. The owners were very helpful.

Basic and clean room… value for money. though located on the inside… it’s a short walk away from all that’s to see. Xinjiang Miao village isn’t that big… a day should be enough

It's on the hillside, a bit rugged, the room is on the second floor. There is a balcony on the second floor where you can enjoy the scenery, but the room is a bit dim and the quilt smells musty

The owner and staff are very nice, and the service is excellent. The room is small and basic, but the soundproofing is poor, which is common in most wooden houses. I recommend changing the room lighting to brighter white lights. There's a small terrace on the second floor of the common area, which is very comfortable to enjoy the breeze at night.
