During the Qingming Festival, I took my parents out for a trip and checked in at the Longtang Mountain House, which I had been interested in for a long time. The hotel is hidden in the mountains. Going up the rugged mountain road, passing by the traditional Chinese village Longtang Village, and then going up the mountain for a while, you can see a group of hotels built on the top of a mountain, which is very ”secluded”.
Because it keeps a certain distance from the ancient village and is outside the style coordination area, the style of the hotel and the traditional village are not affected by each other. The hotel lobby and restaurant are also the best areas for bird's-eye view of the Miao village and terraced fields. The hotel itself is also a poverty alleviation project, and staying here is also very meaningful.
The exterior design of the hotel echoes the architectural form of the stilt house. The roof is completely made of tile roofs and traditional masonry methods. The interior uses height differences to form two functional spaces, bedrooms and living rooms, forming a contrast between virtual and real. Each house has a natural landscape facing it, and they do not interfere with each other.
The hotel's service is also thoughtful, with rich breakfasts and supper arrangements. I especially like the activities of visiting the Longtang Ancient Village and doing batik in the intangible cultural heritage experience hall transformed from a pigpen. I am very happy.
The only drawback is that you have to walk up and down a flight of stone stairs to reach the hotel rooms, which is a good experience for young and middle-aged people, but is definitely not friendly enough for the elderly.

When I arrived, the boss and another young man came to pick me up and immediately helped me with my luggage. Because we were halfway up the mountain and were afraid that we would be tired, we took a local villager's car to the hotel entrance. The hotel environment is elegant and comfortable, the room facilities are complete, the geographical location is superior, the balcony has a wide view, and the hotel's breakfast 🥣 gives people a feeling of being at home. I checked out the next day and stored my luggage in the hotel. Because I had to take a bus to another place in the afternoon, the boss was very enthusiastic to help me send my luggage to the place where I took the bus. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to go again in the future! ! !

If I could give these people 100 stars, I would! We were super lost at first, but we gave them a call and they met us across the bridge and helped us carry our bags up the steep hill, and then up the multiple floors of the hotel. The two men at the front desk went above and beyond to help us out — we accidentally left a phone on the train on the way to Xijiang, and we couldn't contact the train company because we're international travelers who are not fluent in Mandarin. They helped us contact 12306, file a lost item report, coordinate with the train company, and arranged for a courier to bring the phone from the train station to the village. We got the phone back in less than 24 hours! They were also helpful with local recommendations, and overall very patient with my intermediate level Mandarin. Very lively location, right above bridge #1. The room was comfortable and clean, and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Also, they have a very cute, sleepy cat ＜3

However, if you try to open the windows as little as possible at night, there will be a lot of flying insects (this is the case in all Miao villages). The boss is also enthusiastic to help carry luggage and guide the way. The only drawback is the towels. I am very picky when it comes to accommodation when I go out, and hygiene is what I am most concerned about. I compared many reviews and finally chose Wei Jianshan. The guys from the B&B will come to Xiaobeimen to pick you up and help with your luggage. They are all very enthusiastic. Although climbing up to the B&B is a bit tiring for the weak, I felt that I had made the right choice after opening the room. The room was neat and clean (I forgot to take pictures). The balcony overlooking the village is also very beautiful. It was very comfortable to stay for two days. The rice noodles in the morning were also delicious. My family liked it very much. However, I would like to make a small suggestion. The railings on the balcony can also be cleaned from time to time. There are cobwebs in the corners.

The room is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The service was good. They replied to all my questions via WeChat every time I needed something.
The location, however, is not great. We knew that it was a bit removed and high, but we booked it anyway because it said it had a good view. This was not really the case. The view was to a mountain with a construction site on it, and you could barely see the town. The stairs up to the hotel are also very steep and with trash around it and not light up at all, so it was not great when you needed to do it at night in the dark.
The construction site is right next to the hotel, so we had loud construction noises every day since very early in the morning, waking us up, and even one night at 1.30 am there were some trucks parking some materials for 30 minutes.
So while the hotel and room itself are great, sadly, the location is not worth it.

The whole house is smart, and there are upgraded rooms. The boss is very nice. He can give us a few bottles of mineral water when we leave the store. GGuest UserWorld class service! I feel very welcomed by the staffs even days before our trip. They are great at communicating with us and answered any questions and provided anything we needed! The room is so comfortable and aesthetic!! I didn’t wanna leave the room lol. There’s a complimentary bath and I picked the herbal bath. They prepared it very well by deep sanitizing the bathtub and brewing the herbal bath. We also did our laundry while we stayed there. There are a lot of traditional Miao Tribe clothes that we can put on and take photos for free. One of the staffs took photos for me and my family with their camera. She also helped me put on accessories. The view is amazing and the location is perfect for our stay. Their staff picked us up at the little north gate and carried our luggages all the way up to our hotel and they did the same baggage delivery service when we are leaving. Words cannot describe how thoughtful and excellent their services is. I will book this hotel again in our future visit to the Miao village and I highly recommend it to anyone!

The first time I came to Qianhu Miao Village, I stayed at this Life Treasure B&B. After entering Miao Village, you can take the shuttle bus directly to the entrance of the B&B. The location is very close to the observation deck and far from the pedestrian street, but there is also a shuttle bus. , very convenient.
There are two large beds for the two of us! It is enough to sleep four people! This way, the average cost per person is just over 100, and there are beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows that can see the scenery of the entire Miao Village from a distance, which is really artistic.
Afternoon tea is also provided in the afternoon, with desserts, drinks, and fruits, and the presentation is exquisite. You can sit by the window for breakfast, and the window can be opened. It is so pleasant to eat a rich breakfast, look at the scenery of the Miao Village, and breathe the fresh air of the mountains!
The whole house is smart, and the curtains, lights, and air conditioners can be controlled by voice. I like the fact that there are two sinks. IIng YungXijiang is undergoing major construction phase. Access from the viewing deck to the hotel is a tiny horrendous narrow steep dirt alley with physical encounter with ponies used for hauling building materials. A new hotel is under construction right next door and screeching of drills and banging of hammer started promptly at 7am. White painted room decorated by light colour elegant furniture provide a lively zen ambiance. Uneven surfaces at the entrance, breakfast bench and parts of the room resulted in a few trips and stumble. Modern and top grade amenities, toilet suites and voice activated commands took a little use to but very convenient. Breakfast was a choice between boiled rice noodle or spaghetti with a heart shaped froed egg in the bowl and another hard boiled on the serving tray. Tit bits and free beer prepaed for afternoon tea was extended to mid night cap. Appreciated most of all were the free porterage of our luggage through the steep alleys of the famous hillsides to and from our room.

Although the Miao village is undergoing large-scale road construction recently, there are still small roads that can be easily accessed. The hotel has a laundry dryer, and the room is also equipped with laundry detergent, and the living facilities are convenient. There are also many activities. Before arriving at Qianhu, the housekeeper Amu asked us about our arrival time. After arriving, he came to the ticket gate of the scenic spot to greet us. He helped us take all the boxes and luggage. This is so happy for us who have been running around for a day!
I like the design of the B&B very much. The toiletries and drinks are all branded products. The welcome fruit plate and breakfast plate are also carefully designed. The sound insulation effect is also very good, especially suitable for friends who want to rest and relax.
Of course, I decided to stay in Qifengxin because of its viewing balcony. It didn't disappoint me at all. The balcony of the hotel is better than the scenic spot, and there is no need to squeeze people~
Finally, thank the housekeeper Amu for taking care of us during our short stay. We feel very comfortable. I have never commented so seriously on the platform. Next time I have the opportunity to go to Qianhu again, I will still choose Qifengxin as always~

The rain in Guizhou really comes and goes, so choosing a good accommodation is very important. Here I feel very happy just staying in this B&B. The view of the B&B is very good. We didn't go to the observation deck, but we can see most of the panoramic view on the 5th floor.
The coffee in the hotel is very good, and there is latte art! BBQ is even more professional than the barbecue stalls outside, and it is really not perfunctory at all. The most important thing is that there is no time limit for breakfast. There are porridge, noodles and coarse grains. It is very homely and I feel warm and comfortable. The young staff is very energetic and passionate, warm and thoughtful to the guests, and help pick up the luggage.
I strongly recommend that the B&B has its own restaurant Four Seasons Food Source. There is a discount for staying in this B&B. The ingredients are very fresh. The remaining raw beef was not finished, and it was taken back to the B&B to help grill it. The pure lean beef can be grilled fresh and tender, which really feels fake!
The environment is good and the bedding is very clean. There are only praises throughout the whole process!

GGuest UserI stayed for 3 nights in the Xijiang Miao Village and I'm very glad I chose this place as my accommodation. On arrival the boss gives a very comprehensive overview of the village and its attractions and encourages you to contact her via WeChat with any queries! The husband also recommended a nearby hot pot restaurant for dinner where I met a brother and sister from Chongqing, which led to a drunken night of spicy food, karaoke, and me wandering through the village without shoes or a shirt 😂 - 10/10 dinner recommendation!
The room was spacious, tidy and had all of the necessary features of a hotel room. It has a very nice family feel, and I often would see the owners' family enjoying dinner or playing with their children which creates a very calm and safe atmosphere! Water is provided (not every hotel does this!) and they are also happy to offer some of their delicious rice wine :)
The night before I left, I asked for information on bus tickets to Kaili and the husband even booked it on my behalf, so helpful! I highly recommend this accommodation to anybody staying in the village.

The owner has a really cute corgi, and he's very friendly in guiding us despite calling him multiple times a day to ask him for direction , bus transfer, and luggage transfer.
I would recommend not to bring too heavy items like I did because the route to the hotel is a bit far and difficult until the bus station.
It's a really chill hotel that's near another viewing point for the paddy field . The design is good too!
Thanks to the kitchen , I managed to cook my own supper, and there's a convenience store right outside the hotel too.
