Van de twee kamers hing in één een penetrante rioollucht. Daarin kon niet worden geslapen en was niet meer oplosbaar. Voorstel eigenaar was geld teruggeven. Daarmee stonden we op straat op zaterdagavond. Zelf een nieuw hotel moeten zoeken

A Beautiful, historic, charming, friendly boutique hotel. The rooms are nothing fancy, but they’re clean, comfortable and have everything needed. The lobby, bar and restaurant have wonderful charm with a mix of historic and modern design. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, and the staff are all extremely friendly. The location, at Moorsport, couldn’t be better. Highly recommended.

Accueil chaleureux, plein de charme. Bien situé, près d'un parking et non loin du centre. Tout est à proximité, magasins, centre touristique et surtout les canaux pour se promener la journée ou le soir . Nous y retournerons sans hésiter. À recommander !

Erg kleine kamer (nr 11), op de 1e verdieping/zolder was eigenlijk té warm+ benauwd om te slapen. Ook met behulp van 2 ventilatoren+ klein velux raampje open was het binnen 33 graden (in de nacht 28). Met hete dagen niet verhuren is mijn advies. (Of tegen sterk gereduceerd tarief voor de liefhebber). Kamer beneden zou dan wellicht beter zijn..echter waren deze vol. Overigens, wel een leuke locatie als je van reuring houdt tot in de nacht.

A pleasant place with really lovely staff. My ground floor room was pretty basic and overlooked the outside patio which did have some privacy issues. At night there was something a drain smell, carefully closing the bathroom door helped and the next morning they said they would look at it. Normally I avoid hotel breakfasts but her I paid the E18.50. It is in theory served on a plate. You may not like everything that is put in front of you, but you will find more than enough to eat. Extremely impressive. Close to the station and close to the town.

Perfecte service, ik had een late boeking maar dat was geen probleem. Ze hebben ervoor gezorgd dat mijn verblijf top verlopen is. Het hotel zit midden in het centrum is goed bereikbaar en je kan vanuit het hotel alle locaties van leiden bereiken. Zeker een aanrader!

Excellent location: 10-minute walk from train station and just a few blocks from all the great Leiden museums. Quiet, bespoke rooms in an old military barrack. Second-floor ceiling is slanted (watch your head getting into bed) but bathroom is modern. Kind staff who gladly help with recommendations, in English. Great breakfast, worth more than the cost, and enough to skip lunch. Great value, and I hope to return one day.

What a gem this is. It's in a lovely quiet location beside a canal right in the middle of Leiden, which is itself a beautiful place. The rooms are spacious and very well-equipped. The bar serves amazing breakfasts, and light meals/snacks throughout the day, though not late into the evening. The staff are friendly and efficient and speak excellent English. If you're looking for a small quiet hotel in Leiden, look no further, this is great.

We couldn't fault our stay at the hotel. Fabulous room, staff that were always friendly and helpful and the perfect location. It's easy to access whether you drive (the car park is literally across the road) or take the train (about a 10 minutes walk) and once there, you are within a few minutes' walk of the centre. Highly recommended!
