Lift not working. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Dusty.

I had to wait a little at the beginning as for some reason my booking wasn’t showing on their system. However I was given an upgraded room due to this. The first room smelt of ******** and the edge of the bed metal piece was sticking out with shower gel half empty. Therefore I was given another room which was in excellent condition, it was a lot bigger with a massive TV screen. This hotel’s bathroom had a hair dryer and a hair straightener too. They also had an ironing board. The person at the reception was very friendly, smiled no matter what and even offered tea whilst I was waiting. Some of the rooms had good views example you could see the Leicester wheel.

Really dirty rooms. Cups were filthy, pillows had stains on them and the bed frame was broken. The shower head was caked in limescale and god knows what else. There was also hairs in the towels. Disgusting. Do not stay here. And there are clear safety issue’s judging by what other guests have said.

Has bed bugs do not come here, i was bitten multiple times. Do not stay here room was dirty sheets were dirty, cleaner walked into the room without knocking whilst i was in the shower.

See photos, this is not a hotel.... More a hostel and is filthy. It is the pits! Be warned and when you do address this unacceptable room, they offer a discount on your next stay! I wouldn't ever stay here again. They are still using photos from when it was Maiyango's. Absolutely disgusting

Really disappointing, the photos are not a true reflection of the hotel. The hotel is really tired and desperately needs updating We were given an Executive Room, when we pulled the bed covers back the bed was covered in food crumbs and was dirty The receptionist did her best and showed us to another room which we accepted as we had commitments that we needed to get too On returning to the room, everything was covered in dust, the teacups, all the surfaces I pulled the mini fridge out and there were dirty used tissues behind it. It would appear no one checked the rooms and spot checks the rooms for cleanliness before issuing the key cards The hotel should put in its description that it needs some money spending on it to bring it up to the standard that they are advertising

We received a phone call from this property when we were enroute asking when we would be checking in. Never had this before and thought it to be quite pushy as there are no times set out on the listing as to when you have to check in by. It was only an hour after check in time.
Also the room had a musty smell, possibly due to poor ventilation in the bathroom. The side tables in the bedroom looked like they hadn’t been dusted in months and some of the bedding was dirty.
The bed was however comfortable, shower hot and tv worked so not completely awful. Maybe just a couple of things to improve on.
