The room I was given was wrong at the beginning. After I changed it, the facilities were old and shabby, the bed had a sour smell and white hair. The breakfast was made in advance and there was nothing to eat. I didn't feel full.

I chose Winstanley House for my wedding on 22nd July 2025 with Emily as my Wedding Coordinator. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for everything. From helping me plan the wedding to actually being there on the day, you were just incredible. I honestly believe you were an angel sent down to earth. Because of you, I enjoyed my wedding 10 times more. I felt so supported and relaxed, and I can’t thank you enough. You were more than a coordinator you were actually my peace and calm when everything felt overwhelming. The way you handled everything so smoothly, without ever making me feel stressed or rushed, was honestly magical. My whole family couldn’t stop talking about how amazing you were. They kept saying how lucky we were to have someone like you running the show. You understood what I needed without me even having to explain it. You were always there in the background, making everything happen and making it look effortless. I genuinely can’t imagine how the day would have gone without you. Thank you for being you. You’re the best coordinator ever and you’ll always be part of my wedding story. I’ll never forget it. Thank you so much!

Here for a business conference. The reception staff were excellent and found me a room despite a colleague forgetting to book me in! Food, facilities & staff were really good.

Cleo and Lexi were amazing. To see so many smiles only increases the customer experience. Cleo made and exceptional negroni. The venue is amazing the staff are amazing the place is amazing and I’m just padding this out to get to 200 characters

Winstanley House hosted the NEU East Midlands Black Educators Summer Celebration on the 28th June, 2025. The food was outstanding. The Moroccan Chicken and Summer salads went down a treat on a hot June afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Emily who left no detail unsorted. From the minute you walk into Winstanley House you are made to feel welcome. We had an anniversary party for 75 in the pavilion and it was one of the best nights we have ever had. Great venue and setting. Amazing staff team. Lovely food and service. We took over 10 bedrooms, they were all beautifully appointed and very clean. Love the breakfast team, so friendly even when we descended on mass at 9.00am. Just a great venue.

From the first contact Winstanley House have been excellent in all areas. The assistance in the organisation of the 2025 Y11 Prom for Rawlins made the process stress free, the information packs were great and the availability of Beth Ellis (Event Co-ordinator) meant that any questions could be addressed really quickly The team from Winstanley House were absolutely fantastic on the day and during the set up. From the guys doing the traffic management, the serving staff to any member of staff the level of service could not be faulted The students had a fantastic time, the food was excellent and the venue looked amazing - if you are looking for an event with great support, great venue and a guaranteed great experience then Winstanley House would be hard to beat.
