Nikiana Beach

We have just had an amazing 7 night stay here at Nikiania beach club. Such welcoming friendly staff, great atmosphere and stunning views! We were mainly served by Paris and Dora who were both so lovely and so helpful always welcoming us with a big smile:-) The accommodation was extremely clean with really comfortable beds and great views. We ate here only twice as we were in Lefkada for a wedding but the food was exceptional and great value, a big thank you to the chef, Anna. Nikiana beach club is a very traditional Greek hotel with lots of charm, it is truly a special place and we can’t wait to go back :-)

Just got back from here fourth time in three years. What makes this place so special is it is small and friendly . The staff (restaurant and beach )get to know your name and your requirements. Perfect setting on the beach and only have to walk a few metres to taverna / bar and beach. Rooms are clean and have air-conditioning, television, fridge, kettle. Lots of opportunities to get on water courses are available for sailing, , windsurfing and powerboat. Most guests are there for water sports but not all and it is a perfect place to just relax on the sunbeds with natural shade available under the trees. Taverna food is traditional Greek . I'm a vegetarian and the food is tasty with lots of choice. If you want Most of your meals at the taverna club board is very good value. If you're going on your own you will soon get to meet people as small place and faces will become familiar. Look out for the "no single supplement" weeks .

Giles and the Seafarer team make Nikiana Beach Club a wonderful place to stay at. From the moment to getting off the transfer bus from the airport until seeing you off at the end of your holiday their customer care and awareness of your needs and wants is second to none. Accommodation is simple but yet so well presented. Rooms cleaned most days which is a bonus. On-site food and drink from the beach club taverna is very good. Lovely selection of Greek food including the most delicious salads. Plenty of drink options to suit all tastes including some great beers. Sailing activities are what make this place shine and the staff are brilliant at supporting you whatever your ability. Lots of different dinghies to choose from plus kayaks and wind surfing. All kit is looked after to a very high standard. Club has a range of high performance dinghies for the experienced sailor to take out. Lots of nice restaurants in Nikiana to try out as an alternative to the taverna. You can also explore further afield using local bus or taxi - Lefkas town well worth visiting. A wonderful place to holiday at that has people going back on a regular basis

I flew home from Nikiana beach club yesterday. It was my third visit there. The first being 30 years ago. The very long and detailed review before mine isn't untrue. However, Nikiana beach has always been a jigsaw of Greek experiences, and there's no cover up... For what you get, it's fantastic value. The food at the beach club is lovingly made and quickly and cheerfully delivered. The Seafarer staff are some of the best I have met in 30 years of sailing holidays. Experienced "spit and sawdust" greek accommodation users will recognise everything in the negative review.... I agree whole heartedly that the poor performance of the Simos House owners let Seafarers and their customers down very badly that week. But please don't forget, a similar sailing experience at Mark Warner or Sun sail costs 3 or 4 times the price. My friend Vicky and I had absolutely the BEST time. Sailing skills brushed up and confidence restored. We can't wait to book for next year. Big thank you to Kristen who properly looked after us 2 dotty girls.

Thanks to Giles, Maddie and Team. 2nd year running and even better this time. Great sailing equipment well maintained so still in good working condition at end of season. Seafarer do a great job in making this affordable. Shout out also to Nikiana bar & food team. Hope to return again next year.

We returned a couple of weeks ago from a fantastic week in Nikiana. Giles and his team looked after us superbly. The sailing was excellent-- good range of kit and fantastic instructors to help. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always on hand to help and advise. Shout out to Charlie for some amazing photos and to Kirsten who taught our daughter for rya stage 2. ( Kirsten, you have been so kind and encouraging. Thanks to you, our daughter loves sailing now!) Thanks also to Si for helping with confidence levels. We loved the regatta on our last day. This was our second year at Nikiana and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend it!
