The staff is praised for friendliness and helpfulness. Guests enjoyed the varied breakfast options and comfortable beds. The location is convenient for accessing city center and sporting events.

I really recommend

Very disturbing experience. We stayed on the top floor in a room that was very dated and smelly. Bedroom - The plugs next to the bed didn’t work, cold water from taps, no heating, door lock faulty ( we were two women who already felt afraid from entry at reception to an intoxicated host), food wrapper behind bed side table, no bed side lamp. The bedroom window was broken by over 1.5cm at the too so the wind and noise all night was unpleasant. Bathrooms - The two bathrooms on the second floor were appalling. Both smelled very very bad of mould. One of the toilets moved about an inch and a half once you sat on it (we were desperate to pee after long travels). The showers looked disgusting so we did not wash. Whilst the hotel was hoovered the carpets throughout are very old and stinky. There was a smell of **** in reception. The stairs are thin and steep. All doors filthy. The beds were fine to sleep on, bedsheets clean but you could see under the mattress and pillows were yellow. Walls paper thin. We ignored this and went to sleep as we had to catch a very early flight. We believe people live here full time and there may be a personal hygiene issue. Free carpark difficult to get into, watch your car doesn’t scrap the ground as you enter down the pot hole hill. Bar downstairs but no one in it which was good for noise. Horrendous. Diabolical. Nasty.
