Convenient for the station and pleasant staff, but that is the only positive. The walls & doors are paper thin and the hallway flooring is unstable enough that when any one walks past your room it sounds like a herd of elephant. Doors are so badly fitted, they let the light from the hallway into the room. But to top it all the glazing in the hotel is so bad, you are kept awake ALL NIGHT but the music from The Head of Steam Club next to the hotel or, all the traffic noise. There is literally no reason for anyone to stay at this ‘hotel’

I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel last month, and it was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Here are the reasons why: 1. Flashing Lights Outside the Room: The light outside my room was constantly flickering, making it nearly impossible to sleep. I contacted the front desk three times about this issue. The first time, I was told they could turn it off. The second time, they promised it would be fixed. By the third time, they admitted they couldn’t turn it off or repair it and offered no solution. I was left to endure this the entire night. 2. Heating Issues: The heating in the room wasn’t working, and when I reported this to the front desk, I was met with an extremely rude attitude. Instead of fixing the issue or offering a proper solution, they handed me an extra heater to carry up myself—without an elevator! This level of service is unacceptable. 3. Hygiene Problems: The room was not clean. There were flies in the room, which was disgusting and made me question the overall hygiene standards of the hotel. This hotel shows a complete lack of care for its guests. Between the flashing lights, broken heating, rude staff, and poor cleanliness, it’s clear they are not interested in providing even the most basic standards of comfort. I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from this place.

This hotel does not take hotel cleanliness as their task. The floor carpets are full of dust and, to an extent and its gross and overly dirty to get it on your shoes or socks or any footwear. Worst hotel experience. Please do better. I've stayed in this hotel a couple of times thinking next time is going to be better and always, just always its worst. Please consider cleaning carpets. I don't want to embrace by sharing photos. Please take cleaning seriously.

The location was excellent, and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. However, I was a bit disappointed that there was no lotion provided in the room.

Our experience was superb. The manager is approachable and considerate in every situation. Thank you also to the staff who made our stay a memorable one.

Well located hotel. Not luxurious, but a reasonable place to stay for the night in central Leeds

Girls night out in Leeds , comfy beds had all we needed, staff friendly all good

Very very basic. 3 mile hike to get to the rooms. Stank of smoke in the room we were in. Rain poured onto the window cill making a knocking noise all night. Stains in the bath towels. Continental breakfast was toast, cereal, cheese and ham with jam and muffins. Was ok but not a huge range to choose from. Won’t be staying again .

The location in the heart of the city was great and easily accessible. The top floor was assigned to me since I asked for a quiet room. The space was spacious. Instead of using central heating, they supplied a standalone heater. You can also change the temperature on your own. But don't forget to bring your toothbrushes.

Great location very handy for the train station I checked in a little late and staff couldn't have been more amenable when I phoned to arrange this. Very clean and tidy, a little dated but that is reflected in the price. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn't need 5 star luxury
