Stayed one night at EasyHotel Leeds – overall, it was okay. The best thing about it is definitely the location. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Leeds Station, and right in the city center, just across from Flat Iron Leeds (perfect if you’re craving steak), with a Costa Coffee next door for your caffeine fix.
The room I got didn’t have any windows and seemed to be one of their accessible rooms – spacious bathroom with handrails and a shower seat. Not a problem at all, just something to note. The room itself was clean and basic, totally fine for a short stay. Wi-Fi was decent for general use.
They’ve got vending machines on the ground floor and a 24-hour front desk. Free baggage storage is available before check-in, which was really convenient. After check-out they said there might be a charge, but I only needed it for about an hour and wasn’t charged anything.
Nothing fancy, but if you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot in a central location, it does the trick.

The overall hotel experience is pretty good. The environment is clean and tidy. The room layout is simple and practical. Although the facilities are not particularly new, they are basically complete and there are no major problems in using them. The front desk service attitude is okay, and check-in and check-out are relatively smooth. The location is okay, and the surrounding transportation and living convenience are average. Overall, it is more suitable for short trips or temporary overnight stays. The price-performance ratio is acceptable, and there is no obvious dissatisfaction.

Smooth check in. Hot water/drinks available from reception at very reasonable prices. Rate is room only. There is not a dedicated restaurant but there is one next door.

If location is your top priority, this hotel has you covered—it’s right in the heart of everything! But if you’re planning to stay more than one night, you might want to think twice…
Let’s talk about the bed: firm, with equally firm pillows, so if you prefer sleeping on a cloud, you’re in for a rough night. Light sleepers beware—thin walls mean you’ll be serenaded by corridor noise and door slams, not to mention the mysterious, ever-running water from who-knows-where (probably the rooms next door)!
Amenities? Minimal. One towel, no in-room kettle (hot water is available downstairs for 20p—bring your own cup or get one from reception! Other hot drinks and a vending machine are available in reception too), and you’ll need to request a hair dryer at reception.
Bottom line: great for a quick, no-frills stopover, but not the most restful stay.
