The hotel was beautiful, with lovely grounds perfect for a run or a walk. It also offered free parking, which was really good. The service was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to find an iron and ironing board because we needed to iron some of our outfits.
Overall, it was a great stay, and we would happily return.

Obviously quite a grand hotel in its day. Now a hotel/conference centre but still OK. The rooms don’t match up to the rest of the building but clean and comfortable. Main restaurant a bit steep but there’s a nice pub in the grounds
