Our room rate was great and although this is not a 5 star hotel, it rates 5 trip advisor stars. The staff is efficient, friendly, and did a great job of making us feel welcome. The room was clean and spacious for the three of us. Good amenities and comfortable beds. The ****** was not over crowded and there was a good variety of games. If you want to stay in downtown, this is an excellent choice.

Although the hotel design is not much, the location of the hotel is very convenient, so there is no big problem. The room is very comfortable and there is free coffee. There are several affordable restaurants downstairs of the hotel, which can solve the problem of three meals.
It is recommended to choose a room with a high floor, which will be less noisy, because outside the hotel is the scenic spot, and there will be a lot of music. It's really convenient, so I highly recommend this hotel. The bed was very comfortable and I had a pleasant trip.

I can't possibly express how extraordinary this property and its staff are.. I took a big gamble and placed 6 of our business team here over a conference week even though it was a brand newly rolled out hotel and ****** (which can be problematic typically until they can smooth things out with a bit of time under their belts) but not here! From the very moment we arrived we have been treated like VVIPs in every single way by each and every staff member across the board starting with extraordinary automatic upgrades for our entire team by the utterly charming front desk clerks to absolutely beautifully appointed two room Royal Suites with fantastic views of The ***** and Sphere. The location for anyone attending the Convention Center is one of the best possible placements on the entire ***** and is an easy convenient walk back and forth. The ****** is one of the nicest that we have ever gambled in with gorgeous custom made and super comfortable table seating (just 5 to a blackjack table vs being crammed with 6) with high caliber dealers and pit bosses. The dining options are absolutely first class and exceed expectations in every way with an incredibly varied selection of options that did not disappoint a single time throughout our weeklong stay. Dons Prime stands out as not only the best steakhouse experience in Las Vegas but was voted by our group as one of the top ten restaurants we had all dined in EVER (and that's a high bar with this well traveled group)... Even the food court was exceptional with fantastic made to order bagel sandwiches in the mornings and fabulous pizza as a quick afternoon snack. The cocktail staff was also some of the best that we have experienced as well .. Special mentions go to the lovely lovely ladies at the utterly stunning Bleau Bar positioned at the epicenter of the ******. The girls that assist you with finding a table at this bar go above and beyond to accommodate in even the most hectic of circumstances and work really hard to stay on top of the table turns to move patrons through swiftly and flawlessly to make way for new guests. We experienced them twice and were blown away by how hard they worked to secure lovely seating for our group both times. I truly can't say enough good about this entire experience and we are now firm converts from our previous favorite Aria and are now 100% Team Fontainebleau any time we are in Vegas. Can't wait to return ! Well done on what had to be one very difficult road to get open and staffed to such a flawless effect.

It was nice in general, many options of food but a little expensive. Good for free car park though. Convenient store just right downstairs of my room, good can buy what I needed. My room can see Sphere that so nice free of charges to have 24/7 show. Room service a bit slow, it take an hour to get the breakfast, but the taste was good.

Excellent location! Chose this hotel as it was one of the dropoff location for airport shuttles and Grand Canyon tour 👍
Beside Mirage and opp Venetian. So convenient!
Paid extra for a room with strip view. Checked in and realised the view was blocked by the advertisement banner (refer pic 2) even though the checkin staff told us our room had a fantastic view. 😓 Was quite upset and husband suggested changing room. So i called reception and they told us to head down for a room change. Showed them the blocked view (refer pic 1) and they changed the room immediately 👏
Room was clean with dated furnishings. Bathroom slippers not provided so pls bring your own.

(If you don't ever plan to use the pool or non-existent hot tub included in your resort fee, then this review is not for you). The grounds and Suncoast ****** and hotel itself is well kept, with friendly staff, and is very clean; however, a major draw in hot Vegas is a well kept pool with jacuzzi and relaxing vibes, as the crowd INSIDE the resort tends to skew more subdued and mellow. Unfortunately, this could not be further from the truth when it came to the ”resort pool.” There is NO jacuzzi/hot tub. and while it looks great in photos, of the many times I have stayed here, the pool is literally OVERRUN with unchecked kids, and BAD parents who let them run amok, literally RUNNING off paying guests who dare try to enjoy the pool and its ambience. I am writing this in my sealed hotel room, and can STILL hear the screaming 5 stories up, after having reached my limit with the incessant SCREAMING of young kids, that drown out the pool background music, ironically played by the hotel, for what reason, I have no idea, as nothing can be heard over the 'kids pool' that seems to serve as a free daycare with negligent chaperones and rude parents. who actually encourage their kids to be as loud as possible and take over the pool. I love kids but there is a time and place and for Suncoast to risk sacrificing the guest experience of actually adult gamblers and basically those paying Suncoast, which is the bread and butter of their business, to ”accommodate” inconsiderate, rude, entitled parents and their unruly kids (which DO NOT contribute to Suncoast from a biz point of view), is enough to make me think twice about staying here. Even the poor pool bartenders are overwhelmed at being forced to become makeshift babysitters. I wanted to stay and relax but I was discouraged to purchase drinks because I could not see myself staying in such a chaotic pool environment. I wish I could say this is a one time event, but this has happened NUMEROUS times and it really diminishes the experience for better quality guests that will pay into your property and continue to return. Please keep this in mind when booking here if you were looking forward to being able to even get into the pool (as the kids make it impossible to even enjoy your own little spot in the already small pool). There is no hot tub either, so please keep that in mind as I assumed ”resort” meant hot tub.

As normal, my reviews are usually based on how a particular hotel or restaurant rates in its class, and against similar competition. In other words, a Hampton Inn isn’t to be compared to say, a Four Seasons. And on that note; Gold Coast Hotel and ****** is not to be compared to The Palazzo, Wynn or The Bellagio, all of which are located on the strip. Located just a mile west of the strip, on W Flamingo, the location is actually better than expected. One can be on the strip in a 15-20 min walk. So, though not on the strip, it’s not as bad as some of the other comparable hotel ******s. We were in town to do a show, and needed ample parking for our trucks. So staying on the strip was out either way: That leaves a few select hotels that could accommodate us; and many of these are in rather sketchy areas. GC has a huge parking area in the rear, with easy access and multiple entries. Overall, it’s probably not as large as The Orleans, but certainly a better location in my opinion. And it’s absolutely light yrs better and much safer than the “Wild Wild West Days Inn” on Tropicana(in which I’ll say in bold text, STAY AWAY!”) The GC exterior seems the same as the day it was built: in other words, old and worn…lol. However, enter inside, and you’ll notice a much improved interior to its humble beginning. The decor still leans classic, but with a touch of modern: And overall actually, quite nice. There’s plenty of gaming, and several restaurants, including a TGIF, which I did not try, and a really good Chinese joint, which I did. The lunch menu was reasonable, and the quality was actually pretty good, if you want Chinese: And they’re open till 3am. Amenities here include a swimming pool(small), and a bowling alley. Neither of which I had time to use… Sorry Rooms: The rooms here have been updated with a fresh remodel at some point recently. A new Flatscreen tv, and a modern wardrobe add to the details. Note: I was one floor from the top, which can be tricky for battling the Vegas heat, for many hotel A/C systems. However, the unit in my room was more than adequate at keeping things chilled down(That one surprised me). The bathroom has all new tile, and a small window for some ventilation(nice touch). Water pressure was really good, but temperature wasn’t easy to adjust at first; but no deal breaker. Overall, the room was clean, modern enough, and the beds was decent for this price range. The service here was surprisingly good(I’ve read this before, and in many places, from those who have stayed at many of the Boyd properties). Everyone was extra friendly, and made the extra effort to make one feel welcomed. So, while not a Four Seasons, you’ll have no worries. Wrapping it up: Overall, this is a good choice for the money; and certainly has ample parking for big rigs, motor homes or other. The proximity to the Vegas strip is adequate, and uber and Lyft pick up right at the front door…. Believe me, that isn’t the case for m

I came to this hotel based on online search reviews rating this hotel as 4 stars. The reviews must have been fake. The registration wouldn't allow me to view the room before checking in. Had I been allowed to do so I wouldn't have checked in. The room smelled like stinky feet. There was dust and dirt on everything. Each of the walls all had some kind of stains on them. The tub had hairs all over it. The plliow cases had stains on them. The windows were hard to see out of. Each of the two lamps in the room had a 4 watt light bulb and provided lighting similar to a tiny night light. The management offered to have someone check on the 4 watt bulbs but nothing about the filth in the room. The linens on the bed did seem clean. This is the first and last time I stay here at this $100 a night room.

My leisure, libation, fun, enjoyment and pleasure all in one place. The exotic cuisine is authentic that’s why I find it to be perfect and excellent. The service is attentive and personal at it’s best. Keep me in mind everytime you want to make a deal in your promotions and marketing. I can use a break such as freebies, discounts, comps., free play, that are worth coming back for as incentive to get me in the house to patronize your business. Make it competitive for there are others that want my business as well but not attractive enough of a proposal for me to splurge and spend my social security and pension in wholeheartedly without regret and restraint. The most important thing is that I paint the town red, go gallivanting, find pleasure and enjoyment in everything I do and not be dissapointed and discouraged or disgusted and annoyed/irritated. Make me happy, is that so much to ask ? As I know for certain that the House always wins.

Excellent
GGuest UserEverything about this hotel is definitely a 10. We had fun. The food was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was it wasn’t a microwave in the room but other than that I don’t have any complaints. Most definitely will be staying here again.
GGuest UserBeautiful revamped hotel. Overall a fantastic experience! Gave us a complimentary birthday upgrade to a beautiful huge suite in the ruby tower. They have a couple of towers, but ruby tower is the tower you will want to be in, w a close by self parking garage connected and a more dedicated check in lobby. You also get direct lift lobby access to the gym, pool and juice bar.
Hotel was connected to the casino floor and direct access to plenty of restaurants. We tried 1 of them and even though pricey, it did not disappoint.
Service was decent for a hotel of this size. Rooms were well designed and quite high tech.
Just remember to not touch the sensor activated mini bar at all cost - unless you want to pay through your nose.
Saw that you could order room service and the prices were similar to the restaurant prices we went to, so that was quite nice. Views were ok, not the best but acceptable, we faced the pool and given it was low season, it wasn’t noisy at all.
The carpark felt fairly safe, we noticed security patrolling a couple of times. There is a valet parking option if you like. Great option to stay at as the other hotels on the strip all charge crazy daily parking rates.
Location from the strip is way nearer than it looks, an easy straight road walk down for about 15-20 mins, and you’ll get to the miracle mile shopping centre and the strip. Once you’re back at the hotel, you are away from all the crazy and in a very safe space.
Will definitely recommend this hotel and will be back for sure!
AAnonymous UserI will book again. This is the hotel I am most satisfied with during my trip to the United States. It is in line with the style of domestic five-star standard rooms, and parking is convenient and free. It is clean, has complete facilities and equipment, and is relatively new. As long as you avoid holidays and weekends, the price is really the best value in the United States.
NNjohns13We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and had a lovely stay! The hotel is huge with some great facilities. I am not into the casino scene and it made a change that this was more discreetly placed in the hotel compared to some of the others. Pool area was great. Gym and spa really nice. Lots of lifts so easily could access my floor and room.
There are restaurants and activities throughout the facilities.
Good location and one day we walked the length of the strip! Easy to get Uber or cabs if you want. Also the deuce bus is a few minutes walk round the corner. The big bus open roof tour bus is literally around the corner if you like that.
Daily bedding and towel changes from housekeeping.
GGuest UserI haven’t stayed in the Linq for quite some time so I figured I give it a shot.
Big mistake…
When I checked in the safe was locked so I asked the front desk to send someone to open it.
Took three phone calls by the time someone came who did not have the tools needed.
I was told someone was coming later to get it done…
It was past 1am so I had to call it a night.
Next morning called again, this time it took two attempts to finally get it done.
I had late night meetings so I asked for a late checkout, I was hoping for noon instead of 11am but was flat out refused.
I’m spending approximately four and a half months out of a year in hotels - yes, I travel a lot for business - and don’t have to use it often but here and there I ask for a late checkout.
Never been refused yet until now in the Linq.
In fact, the lady I talked on the phone with sounded like she was very annoyed by me even asking for such a thing.
Not much better attitude when I came down to check out.
I walked up to a lady at the front desk who did not feel like checking me out but simply sent me to the self check out machine.
I tried but the machine didn’t work. I flagged her down to help me just to realize that the machine really didn’t work.
Sent me over to the next one and guess what? I’d didn’t work either…
Then finally she was willing to check me out manually while looking really annoyed that she had to deal with this.
By this time there was a line behind me of other frustrated guests who also complained about the hassle I just went through.
So at the end I was denied a late checkout but I guess it was ok that I had to spend a lot of my time just to go through the process while dealing with people who seemingly misunderstood the point of hospitality…
I’m spending my money on hotel stays and the Linq is not one of those I’m willing to spend a penny on in the future.
Fooled me once…
The location of course is good and the room was otherwise ok
GGuest UserThe hotel was very nice and had a good location, the problem was that I couldn't use the hair dryer because the electrical connection was damaged (it had signs that something burned) and for safety reasons from a fire I couldn't connect anything, but I had a concert and I couldn't do my hair 😔 the bathroom faucet couldn't be closed and the whole night it was leaking water, very sad so much waste of water, I told the cleaning people, but they only said to close it tightly But I'm sure that wasn't the problem, and the electrical connection, which had already been reported but had not been fixed🤷🏻♀️these problems are a priority in my opinion, and apparently the hotel doesn't care Even though I have such prestige, my stay was frustrating. I really hope that someone from the administration reads this comment and does something. My room was 309 on the 5th floor. Thank you
AAmerican solo travelerThe good: fresh crisp bright white linens, the buffet, the customer service, pool, parking facility with active security presence
The bad: bathroom cleanliness upon arrival (better after first day room freshen up, though), the elevators (stayed in Purple Elevator section… 2 didn’t work, the two that did were shaky and took forever), no in room refrigerator, phone didn’t work,
Overall good stay. Would return
GGuest UserGreat place to spend a few days in Las Vegas. The location, atmosphere, security, and vibe are all excellent. The facilities are a bit outdated, but they are still good. The cleanliness is satisfactory, and the staff who handle it are friendly and make up for it. I can definitely recommend Excalibur for a stay!
GGaukhar RkhMy boyfriend and I flew to Vegas for my birthday, and spent a wonderful week at the Rio Hotel, the room was wonderful, I liked everything! View from the window (we were on the 8th floor), clean bathroom, housekeeping came daily at the same time
GGuest UserLike the hotel, it was huge. Don’t like the resort fee for $100.00 which includes absolutely nothing as far as the rides, shows, etc that the hotel has on its premises. Casino was decent sized. Be aware that it’s on the strip but not really within walking distance if all the other hotels on the strip
