Lanzhou Qilihe District Hotels

The room was very spacious. The hotel is conveniently located in the new district, about 3km from the West Train Station – a quick taxi ride (minimum fare) gets you there. It's also situated right at the entrance of the old street. While the old street isn't large, the hand-pulled lamb (手抓羊肉) there is excellent, and there's even an interesting chocolate museum. The room itself was modern, featuring smart amenities, and felt brand new. The breakfast was also great!

Very satisfied. They provided pick-up and drop-off service, and it's just minutes from Lanzhou West Railway Station. The receptionist was also very nice; they upgraded our room for free because we had a child. Great value for money. The air conditioner and water heater looked brand new, the bathroom was very clean, and the new washing machine was very convenient. I'll definitely book with them next time I'm in Lanzhou.

Only ten minutes walk from Mayan metro station and a ten minute ride to Lanzhou West rail station for airport and bullet trains. Plenty of restaurants and food trucks in a short stroll including excellent BBQ Uyghur food opposite. Room was great size and tastefully modern while lobby area stunningly tranquil and zen. Hotel is practically brand new as is the immediate city district and a few snagging problems still exist. In my room the AC Couod not be operated so a window was always open. And the fancy electronic WC appeared to have no electric connections as module didn’t work. In hall outside room there was ongoing minor repair to the flooring. Amazingly good value for money and high standard Bed and bathroom plus enormous TV all working 100%.

Location: The hotel is ideally situated right next to Lanzhou West Station. We arrived from Lanzhou Station, a taxi ride of about 12km costing 24 RMB. Since we got in late (after 10 PM) and had an early high-speed train departure the next morning (around 9 AM), we specifically booked a hotel near West Station. The immediate area isn't much to write home about, with limited options for exploring, but its unbeatable proximity to the station and the fantastic complimentary drop-off service were huge positives. For our 9 AM train, the hotel arranged a pick-up at 8:30 AM to take us to the station, which we were extremely satisfied with. Cleanliness: Excellent; everything looked very new and well-maintained. Facilities: The room featured smart home controls throughout, and our child particularly enjoyed interacting with Xiao Du (the smart speaker). Service: Exceptional. Every staff member greeted us with a warm smile, and they even offered us extra bottles of water as we checked out. The beef noodles served for breakfast were also delicious.

I don't know why they call it a ”designer hotel” when they have such bad design. No place to hang towels in bathroom, the sink is so badly designed it leaked water all over, the light switches are silly and badly labeled. Also the smell is strange, they need more ventilation. The reception has a ”bar” but has no drinks? Also the location isn't good, cars can't pull up to door, and the ”old city” is a fake/new shopping street, very boring area. Have to take taxi to get downtown...

The hotel is very satisfying! The hotel is conveniently located and has convenient transportation. The front desk staff is warm and thoughtful, very capable, and checked in quickly. The room is clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, the sound insulation is good, and I had a good night's sleep. The facilities are complete, the Wi-Fi is smooth, and the shower water pressure is sufficient. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious. The price-performance ratio is super high, and the details reflect the heart everywhere. It is highly recommended whether it is a business trip or a tourist vacation, and I will choose here next time!

The stay at this hotel is a perfect score! From the moment you step into the room, you can feel the intentions of the details. The room is clean and tidy, the floor and tabletop are spotless, the furniture is arranged in an orderly manner, and even the corners are refreshing. The most surprising thing is the sleep experience: the pillow is moderately soft and hard, the mattress is close to the body curve, and it seems to be wrapped in clouds when lying on it. The hotel also has a pick-up and drop-off service to Lanzhou West Station, which is very convenient.

The hotel service staff and environmental facilities are very good, worth the price, and most importantly, the environment is hygienic and clean. The hotel is also conveniently located near shopping malls, restaurants, and train stations. Because it is our anniversary, we need to arrange a small surprise in advance. The hotel is conveniently located near the high-speed rail station, just a 15-minute walk away. It's a well-known chain brand with comprehensive facilities, and the front desk service was excellent. The Lanzhou beef noodles downstairs were quite decent; I ordered a 'Rou Dan Shuang Fei' (a meat and egg combo) which was very satisfying and filling. Facilities: My only issue was with the shower in the room. The water temperature was incredibly unstable, constantly fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold. I'd get about 30 seconds of hot water followed by a minute and a half of cold. This turned what should have been a 15-minute shower into a frustrating 40-minute stop-and-go ordeal. I was extremely dissatisfied!

Even though I arrived late at night, the male owner was really kind to me. That's because he didn't say a word and only used sign language like a hearing impaired person. Of course, I didn't know Chinese, so I checked in without saying much. Even though I don't speak Chinese, other hotel staff had to sweat while talking to me, but the owner of this place only smiled brightly and talked to me.... I can't even describe how comfortable it was. Hahaha. However, when I entered the room, I was a little disappointed at first. I didn't expect much because it was a cheap single room, but I couldn't see outside, so it was stuffy. However, what surprised me was the cleanliness of the room. I've been traveling all over China since the year before last, but this was the first time I've stayed in a hotel below 4 stars that was this clean and hygienic. I gained trust in the hotel managers who managed it so well, and I ended up booking another night. If you're traveling alone like me, I definitely recommend this hotel! The old streets and the charming atmosphere of the Cheongjinsa Temple are also charming!
