Lovely clean and comfortable apartments. Staff were great, always on hand to help with any queries. It’s a nice walk on the flat along the promenade to the shops and restaurants. Will definitely go again and can thoroughly recommend! A lovely place to stay!

We had such a lovely stay here couldn’t recommend it more. The rooms are so nice and spacious and it is based right on the sea front just 2 minutes away from lots of bars and restaurants to get a bite to eat. It is lovely and peaceful the pool is like your own private pool most of the time. The staff are extremely helpful and provided us with everything we needed. We were here for 3 nights and cleaners came every day, it is very clean and well looked after. Perfect place to come for a nice getaway. The only downfall is the bar not being open on saturday and sunday although the shops, bars and restaurants are so close it’s hardly an issue.

1 bed bungalow in area 8. (34) no issues with stairs or hills would be fine for people with mobility issues. Nothing fancy but clean tidy and has everything you need, however would benefit from extra coat hangers. The fridge worked great. Local for the commercial centre just a few minutes walk and beach almost on the doorstep. Pool area is very nice . We went at a quiet time, always able to get a sunbed. Staff very nice. Would definitely return due to the locality.

Third time at las Gaviotas and never dissatisfied, apartments very well looked after, fantastic location, so well maintained, beautiful location with bars and amenities on your doorstep. Pool areas so clean and peaceful. Will be back I'm sure 😊

I would advise noting the image I have attached to flag up that if you search for the Las Gaviotas apartments to be aware that not all apartments are on the same site. Using the location of the main site as a guide to the proximity of supermarkets etc can be misleading as we were in block 8 - which you will see is some distance (a minibus service is provided to transfer tourists and luggage to the site). Beyond that, the apartment is basic for a self-catering stay. There is a maid service 5/7 days per week with frequent change of towels and bedding. The floor could do with a bit of a mop as it is only swept. The ability to self cater is a bit of a challenge with the limited utensils (unsuccessful at turning an omelette with a veg strainer 🙃) There is a nice pool area (although a touch too chilly at this time of the year - fine when the wind drops!) The stretch along the coast is wonderful for long walks with plenty of places to eat/drink along the way (unless you head east towards the airport)

We stayed in block 2 apartment 5 just a short walk from the beach and commercial centre. Our apartment did overlook the road and lacked some privacy. However, it wasn’t particularly a busy stretch of road and you could see that attempts have been made to add landscaping which once grown may give some natural privacy. The hotel staff were extremely friendly. We were surprised to be offered to be driven to our accommodation on arrival which was a nice touch, although we could have walked it was our first visit so probably would have got lost. We had no kettle in the property on arrival, however this was quickly rectified. Yes the apartments are a little tired but that is reflected in the price. The only small improvement which would cost very little is to have a shelf in the shower to place toiletries and a mirror in the bedroom. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return in the future.

Avoid room 302 , toaster broken, phone not working and the air-conditioning box hanging barely on the wall. The air-conditioning remote was also broken. This bungalow was the only one that got no sunshine ,so the lilos provided were useless. It faced directly on to the main access entrance for other guests and the main public path way. No privacy at all and had to keep the door locked at all times due to how easily accessible our door was. The pool is not heated and is worse than a blast freezer. The pool snack bar breakfast was delicious. Staff attending the snack bar are amazing . The let down the Snack bar only opens Monday to Fri. I do highly recommend there speciality coffee exceptional.
