Hotel Fariones

Can’t fault it at all.. and we tried! Staff, food, botanical gardens (go find the orchid house!), vibe.. everything was beautiful

Stayed for one night only as flight was changed. The hotel itself is lovely and the garden , pool and beach is beautiful. Some staff were friendly (Mario on reception such a lovely person) but others not so much. It’s a big hotel so for me the personal touch is missing.

An amazing stay with superbly appointed rooms, impeccable service from courteous, friendly and professional staff at a beautiful hotel. We had 2 rooms for our family of 4 over the Christmas break. The rooms are very clean and well appointed with roomy terraces overlooking the pool and sea. The breakfast buffet was excellent with everything you could want, we had lunch a few times at the hotel which was very nice but it would have been nice to have slightly more choice for those guests staying longer than a few days. We only had dinner in the hotel’s main buffet restaurant once which was nice with an excellent wine list. There is another restaurant at the hotel but we did not eat there. There were spa treatments available but I believe the main spa was shut so these were done in a small hotel room. The staff throughout the hotel couldn’t do enough for you, all providing exceptional service and so helpful. We couldn’t fault the hotel but the surrounding area is very touristy which wasn’t to our liking but it certainly had lots of bars and restaurants if you wanted. There is a beach just down from the hotel, dark sand, with a few sun beds but a bit too rough to swim in that time of the year. The pool area is lovely, very clean although the pool was a little chilly in December! We would highly recommend the hotel but not the area if you’re looking for somewhere authentic.

Hotel Fariones was excellent, as always
