It's now just a playground and late night parties for Irish familes who smoke ******* day and night. The noise is constant, so dont expect sleep. Arguments and fighting are the norm. The staff are not bothered and are rude.

I will write an honest review in hopes it will help others. The hotel in itself was quite nice. We saw a few cockroaches(huge ones) and 2 made their way into our apartment somehow. I used insect repellant spray and didn't seem to have a problem after that. The room was quite spacious with a sofa bed in the lounge(outdated as the sides were broken) and 2 single beds in the bedroom for our 2 kids. The wardrobe was nice and big but a bit broken. Towels were changed after 3 days of us being there and again 2 days later. The room was cleaned once while we were there. Please be careful as check out time is between 8am-12pm(it was our very first holiday and had no idea that we still have to check out at the time the hotel says and not before our flight was due and ended up paying 35€ extra) and the guy at the reception did not mention that. As soon as I gave him the key, he said "But the sign is here" and pulled the sign from under the desk to show me. I should've argued my case as he did not tell me that, and to assume everyone knows seems a bit much. Lesson learnt anyway. The island in itself is not bad. We loved Aqualava water park but not so much the one in Costa Teguise. Aqualava is much better. The one in Costa Teguise is outdated, sunbeds mostly unavailable and there are no double buoys so the parents can not join their kids. On the children slides, parents are also not allowed. My kids said the water is too small there(0.60cm) and they both grazed their knees in the swimming pool after coming down the slides. I heard other people moaning about the red steep slide(we did not try that one). The coffee is not good, tasted like burnt coffee and the food is way overpriced. I do recommend the guy selling hot dogs as they were the best we had during our holiday. Even my daughter liked it(and she is a picky eater). On the other hand, Aqualava has amazing food and amazing coffee. My kids loved the slides and the wave pool. We did say we should've done aqualava twice but at least we know for the future. The island is very english with very little Spanish influence or culture. I honestly expected it to be more spanish, but it isn't and that is why I will not return. The shopkeepers do not bother to give you the pennies back when you buy something. The pools were cleaned regularly and there are loads of swimming pools available. There are also snooker tables and a small playground(very old) for the kids. The restaurant has quite nice food and a variety of drinks(be prepared to spend as much as you do in a restaurant). The beach is roughly 5 minutes away and it is the best🙂 I never thought I'd swim with fish in the ocean, but I did and also got to see a baby angel shark🙃 Rancho Texas Park is absolutely amazing and well worth a visit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and considering it was our first holiday, we liked it.

We have been to many hotels on the island and this was the worst The site was clean and pools are amazing and our room was clean BUT no air con or fan at all in the rooms and in 40 degrees, you can imagine.(Completely understand the heat is no one's fault) BUT To top it off kids and families in the pools until 3am shouting and screaming,no security. Going home completely exhausted. Will never stay here again.

Short stay good location clean room wouldn’t return , apart from the cleaners the staff are rude including the bar staff ! Lots of big groups of Irish families who don’t mix unless you’re also Irish and let their children run around late at night without watching them , even a very young girl running round the pool !

Hotel overall is good for price and location. Got given the furthest room away from reception pool after requesting close so less steps for bad knees. Cleaner only changed towels no cleaning actually done. Left my watch in the room on the last day and when I went to reception to ask had the maid handed it in was told no. Told I couldn’t go and check the room even tho I knew it was left on the couch! After demanding I was allowed to go and check the room so it was confirmed the maid had taken the watch in hope I had already left for the airport. This was also after us being told we couldn’t keep the room on as it was needed for early check in yet at 6pm the room was still not being used. Police were informed about the maid robbing my watch. Other than the maids this hotel is ok for price and location.

This is my fourth time staying at Atlantis las lomas. We love it here, apartment clean and comfortable and a convenient location. On this visit we noticed that the bar/restaurant staff in the resort were extremely rude and service very slow. Most days we eat out but I think it's important to note this service as poor. Everyone has bad days but we had more than one poor experience with them. I would not recommend eating or drinking in the resort.
