Los Zocos Impressive Lanzarote

Nice hotel and very close to beach, shopping a restaurants. Food was hit and miss, however being so close to multiple food choices you won’t go hungry if you skip the hotel dinners. We had 2 rooms booked and was upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite which was a lovely way to start holiday. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely breakfast spot next door called Bonbons would 100% recommend

We stayed at Los Zocco on 8th Jan for 7 nights. Check in was quick and informative, found room ok on first floor, room 2216. Paid extra for Premium Club, bottle of wine, soft drinks and chocolate in room. Bath robes, slippers and pool towels in room too. Safe included. Room was clean and tidy, everything worked, with a view over quiet pool. Main Restaurant was ok, bit noisy, a big selection of food, might not be to everyones taste, but it was there. Made to order omelettes for breakfast along with the usual including Black Pudding ! Food was not that hot sometimes, there was a microwave if you want to heat it up. Chinese buffet had a selection, rice, noodles, chow mein, veg dish, curry, bear in black beans, chicken balls, crackers, plus small dessert choice. Didn't have to queue long at bars, sometimes no queue, with Premium you get the branded drinks, not local. Pools were freezing, but had to be done. Small sun lounge area for Premium guests which is in front of Premium Club Pool bar. Lovely helpful staff, Melina was a diamond. Tables and chairs with some sofas to relax. Had lunch here most days, small but adequate menu, freshly cooked and was good ! Hotel in great location with shopping Mall and restaurants across the road, a stroll along the prom to "The Square". And of course the beach if you want it. Only downside was some of the guests, not the hotels fault, l am an Eastend boy, but 2 75 yr old men shouting and nearly coming to fisticuffs at the bar, come on grow up ! Would we go again ? Yes, booked again for March !
