A perfectly situated hotel very close to the beach and restaurants/cafes. The rooms are spacious and the pool & bar area are very nice. The pool is a good size and there are a decent amount of sun loungers but you have to get up very early to secure one in the morning. We managed to get one in the afternoons pretty easily. Overall a great choice if you are staying in Pentai Cenang area and dare I say the only choice.

Near to e beach.. 3mins walk.. the good thing if you are driving, there is an allocated carpark beside e hotel.. so u dont haf to tink where to park your car!! Very convenient location, just behing cenang mall.

Friendly staffs. However, towels are old and torn. Should not ask customers to put towels to be cleaned on the floor.

Love the welcome drink they gave us when we arrive especially after a rough ferry ride. The hotel located just behind the mall which is opposite the beach. Had a superb time at the pool and easy accessible to eateries nearby.

Hotel was very clean & comfortable, staff were friendly ,polite & helpful. Great aircon. Had a couple of issues, the shower kept going hot & cold & the swimming pool drainage panels were very loose & kept banging very loud every time somebody walked over them. We reported this to the manager & he changed our room, which the shower worked perfectly. His answer was that the hotel was at full capacity & could not do anything about the shower. They did send the maintenance crew to fix the drainage panels to no success, but at least they tried. Very limited sunbeds& and if you want 1, you have to get up at the cracking of dawn. Overall, it's a good hotel in a fantastic Location.

The hotel was very good, great standard. We had a room with pool access. The breakfast was good with a lot of options. The only complaint was the room was a bit dusty and the shower needed a proper scrubb.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was also near the beach and near many restaurants. However we were given a connecting room & the room was not very soundproof so we were disturbed by the baby crying at night which we can hear clearly.

Not much to look at from the outside, but from the inside this hotel is really nice. I booked a "sea view" room but could barely see it between the gaps of other buildings (my pic is the most you could see). There's a big pool but it could do with an occasional net sifting as it had a few leafs. But this is nit-picking, I'm only saying it as a way for the hotel to see how it can improve. However, my main critique would be the staff seemed cold and unwelcoming, like airport security.

Dear Hotel Management & ACCOR, I recently had the opportunity to visit Langkawi for the first time and chose to stay at the Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang under the Accor brand, expecting the high standards of service and quality that Accor is known for. Upon check-in, I was asked to place a deposit of 100 RM. However, during check-out, I was assisted by Mr. Andrew, who returned the deposit and provided a receipt indicating a Malaysian tourism tax charge of 20 RM per person for me and my brother, totaling 40 RM. I was surprised, as I had already paid the tourism tax when I booked the hotel. After bringing this to Mr. Andrew’s attention, he verified the information and promptly refunded the 40 RM. While I appreciate the eventual resolution, the experience raised concerns about the integrity and attentiveness to detail at your establishment. Such oversights can diminish the trust and reputation that the Accor brand has built over the years. It is not about the money, but about the commitment to honesty and excellence in service that guests expect. For future guests, I recommend verifying the tourism tax payment to avoid similar issues. Regarding the stay: • Room: Clean with a pleasant scent, though I was surprised to find that coffee and tea were not complimentary. • Pool: Outdated, but the pool bar service was excellent. Special commendation to the friendly staff member that is an Indian man (sorry bro I don’t get your name) who made a delightful Negroni. • Reception: Service quality needs significant improvement to meet Accor’s standards. Staff training and hiring practices should be reviewed to enhance guest experience. A bit out of the way - good thing that there is no traffic noise. Rooms are pleasant and comfortable. There is a 3M water filter so there is no need to buy bottled water.

I booked 3 ocean view king size bed rooms for three nights. As requested, was given two adjoining rooms and all at same level4. View of the sea(the Chenang beach) was partially blocked. Rooms all spacious and the beds and pillows all good. Small fridge with complimentary 2 carbonated soft drinks and a carbonated mineral water. TV programs were adequate but good to add a couple of Astro channels like Astro Ria or Warna. Air con is cold but toilet door got no lock, the oldies will feel a bit odd.Open carpark shared with Chenang Mall is abundant and 100m to lobby using the hotel card for gantry enter and exit but during heavy downpour no shelter walkway. Facilities all excellent; Fitness Centre barely utilised was patronised by my children, teenagers and youth and they enjoyed it. My wife and daughters patronised the Spa at level1 both body and foot massage - very nice activity while it rains. A small fee for the Spa. Swimming pool is good and not to forget varieties of buffet breakfast. The best during breakfast is the teh tarik. All excellent but still if possible Management should provide a COIN LAUNDRY in the hotel as those nearby are always fully occupied and utilised.
