Worst hotel ever. Absolutely not recommended. Very old and smelly. Except the beach is nice, but the stinky small river what enters to the ocean is very smelly. We was second floor and it was very noisy because stone aged air conditioners. We ask to change the room, but they don’t care. Never again.
I took some pictures from our room, unfortunately I can’t make a picture with the horrible smell from bathroom from leaking sinks and so on. Mold everywhere at our rooms. For this price it’s totally unacceptable.

I just got back from Camar Resort Langkawi, and it was exactly what I needed for the perfect getaway. The location is amazing—tucked away in a peaceful spot, far from the crowds, so it felt incredibly relaxing. My room was spotless and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Not to mention, it has the longest pool in Langkawi, which made the experience even more special! If you're looking for a quiet escape, I highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing especially the wing pool rooms .. you have your own balcony exit to the pool , one of the best .. although bar staff and restaurant lack a lot of experience and people skills , the reception has very good service .

I recently booked a 4 night stay at this hotel. Upon arrival Syam greeted us from our Grab taxi and was so helpful and took our bags. The check in was easy enough with just the tourist tax to additionally pay. I had requested a Beach Wing room. Syam took us to our bedroom and explained about which water was okay to drink.
The room was huge, lots of space and a balcony. Air con as well as a ceiling fan.
The bathroom was very dated and we did have a few issues which we made do with but the bathroom could have done with some renovations. The shower flooded the whole bathroom due to the cracked and broken ledge separating it, (see photo) there was no shower door so no way of preventing the water leaving the shower. The towels were fluffy and a generous size.
Breakfast had a good selection and they do cook fresh eggs or omelette. The staff everywhere were all extremely welcoming and friendly.
The pool was great and easy to get a sun lounger as so quiet.
The beach again was great, the sea perfect of you had children as very calm and shallow.
Overall a lovely stay but would be nice to have an upgraded bathroom.

Nice hotel good position slightly away from the centre of town so nice and peaceful.
Great setting for breakfast over looking beautiful beach.
And there claim of the longest swimming pool is correct it’s long.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

There are few pros and cons points worth to be highlighted:
Pros
1. Staff - all of the staffs are well trained and very polite.
Cons
1. Check in - this is the first time as a local malaysian, I need to provide I/C for each of my family members who is going to stay here. When i asked the receptionist, she said it’s part of the resort policy as it is a so called “4/5 star resort”. (I never encountered this situation at other 4/5 stars hotel) It’s weird, but they do implement this policy
2. Breakfast - for a 4/5 star resort, the available menu is super basic and not meeting my expectations. Egg also ala carte with additional charges if you want to request extra
3. Room cleanliness - theres a lot of cockroaches here. Im not joking!!
Summary
Not recommended. With a total of almost RM600 per room per night spend, there’s a lot of better options.

Was a surprise vacay for my mom and she fell in love with it. Located so close to the beach. Even had a welcome drink. A front desk staff name, Heli, I think, served us well. Assisted us throughout when we had questions. And other staff were very initiative that they served us without being asked. Breakfast by the beach was my favourite. Planning to visit Camar Resort again. No words can describe how satisfied my stay was.

went to Langkawi with beautiful family! enjoyed spending my time with them in this amazing resort! pricing very affordable, cleaniness up to standard and friendly staff!
the beach view is a must to have especially during breakfast enjoying the view and the breeze of the water waves!
would come here again! it was worth it!

Pros:
Calm area that's away from tourist hotspots like Pantai Cenang.
Friendly staff
Comfortable
Good restaurant
Cons:
The housekeeping can be better. The glass cups in the rooms don't get changed or cleaned throughout the stay.
The drinking water faucet in the room is too slow.
Breakfast coffee is not good.
Breakfast food selection can be improved.

My second time coming here after 4 years and they did maintained the place very well. Staffs are all polite and friendly. Very comfortable, spacious and cozy bed. Decent breakfast. Got their own beach access. Overall good and definitely will stay here again :)

The staff was unskillfull and doesnt know how to handle guest. We deposited 1k when checked in but during checked out time charged us for a stain on the towel????? Said it wont be go off if washed was very2 rude and fined us unnecessarily for smoking but we booked smoking room and paid for it. Its ridiculous to bare the costing, no guest friendly, immannersly issued receipt deducted money without informing us. We booked 5 rooms to have a nice vacation but it turns out not a good hotel to recommend to others when "making money out of thin air". Not even a star to rate u guys for the behaviour u showed us. CAMAR RESORTS!!! plsss send yr staffs for guest training and train them in hotel management, especially guest handling fact! You're loosing business guys, mind it.
