The junior suite on the second floor boasts a popular balcony, perfect for photoshoots (especially with the complimentary afternoon tea). The Dyson hairdryer is excellent, and the water pressure in the bathroom is just right. However, there are a few downsides: 1. The candles in the room are purely decorative and cannot be lit. It would be much better to provide incense sticks that guests could actually use. 2. The linen and towels are quite rough, and the cleaning process needs improvement. 3. The repeated emphasis on not taking the perfume, among other items, makes the hotel seem a bit stingy. It would be more gracious to offer trial-sized versions for guests to freely use. While the items provided are high-end, they feel more like showpieces than practical amenities."

"Facilities: The facilities are pretty good, with an XiaoDu smart voice assistant. Cleanliness: The hygiene is good. Environment: The lobby is bright, and there are green plants in the hallway. The hotel is right by the First Bathing Beach, but the traffic in the old town is really bad. I recommend taking the subway, which is also very close. Service: The front desk staff were very friendly, helped with luggage storage, and even gave the kids a sand digging toy set! Other: The breakfast is basic but the taste is pretty good. It would be even better if they offered more noodle dishes!"

"My stay at Furunli Courtyard was amazing! The courtyard is like a beautiful, delicate garden with a lovely atmosphere, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast was good quality, and as a bonus, we received a complimentary cocktail to enjoy at the adjacent café. The café had a fantastic vibe, perfect for taking photos. Highly recommended!"

Initially, what drew me to the hotel was its convenient location – right next to a subway station, a mere 500-meter walk from key coastal attractions like Zhanqiao Pier and Xiao Qingdao Isle, and surrounded by an abundance of restaurants, bubble tea shops, and convenience stores. However, after my stay, what truly left the deepest impression were the considerate, patient, enthusiastic staff members who possessed excellent professionalism and service-mindedness. Whether it was standard services like check-in and room cleaning, or convenient amenities such as the congee station at breakfast and the laundry room, I consistently encountered smiling staff members who greeted me warmly and proactively addressed any service requests I had. While the hotel's prime location, modern room facilities, high-tier brand, comprehensive amenities, and high-quality breakfast are inherent attractions, it was the highly efficient and professional service team that truly brought these elements to life, seamlessly integrating them and elevating the entire travel and stay experience. This outstanding service was the most impressive bonus, going beyond any visible policies or promotional images. My sincere thanks to every staff member for their excellent service. I hope they continue to maintain this high standard, setting a superb benchmark for the entire industry and contributing to the positive development of Qingdao's tourism and service sectors."

"The view from the window is absolutely stunning, like a painting – seriously, you *have* to get a sea-view room on the third floor! The room decor has a lovely French-inspired touch, very beautiful. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with a generous supply of disposable toiletries, which were replenished daily. The location is a hidden gem – quiet but close to the action. Right outside, there's a restaurant that's been featured by a celebrity, Ma Jiaqi, and the surrounding area is full of charming old villas, drawing lots of influencers looking for the perfect photo op. Just a heads-up, it's on a one-way uphill road, so traffic can be a bit of a nightmare. If you're heading out, it's best to call a taxi in advance, or it's just about a ten-minute walk to the nearest subway and bus stations."

"The Min Guo Hotel boasts an excellent location at the intersection of Zhongshan Road and Hubei Road, making it incredibly convenient for visiting Zhanqiao Pier and the train station. The breakfast offers a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, including freshly ground coffee. I even saw a Korean family and some handsome European and American guests. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and the rooms were well-equipped, comfortable, tidy, and stylish. The dumpling restaurant downstairs was packed for lunch and dinner; we tried both the seafood and specialty dumplings, and the prices were very reasonable."

"The housekeeping staff are very polite; they greet me with a warm smile and a 'good morning' every day, making me feel right at home. The breakfast is rich with a wide variety of delicious food, and the environment is clean and hygienic. I really like the hotel's swimming pool; the environment is very clean. The location is also excellent, with a convenience store right at the entrance, and it's very convenient to go nearby for seafood. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is good. I would definitely visit again. I am an IHG member; it would be great if the room could be upgraded. Other places usually offer upgrades, and I've stayed at IHG hotels many times now."

"This European-style villa room is very spacious with high ceilings. Even though it wasn't particularly cold outside, the room stayed cool without needing air conditioning. I took some photos of the hallway, and it was a great visual experience. In the mornings, there's a local market right outside the door, which is a fantastic way to experience local life."

"First off, the location is fantastic. The hotel is right by the First Bathing Beach, which was perfect for my child to explore the tide pools. The cliffside restaurant on the first floor is incredibly pleasant for enjoying the view and relaxing, giving you a wonderful sense of being away from it all. In the evening, having a drink there really sets a great mood. The food itself is quite ordinary, but the surrounding scenery and ambiance make up for any imperfections. The front desk staff were lovely – beautiful, friendly, and gentle. Sisters 3075 and 3029 left a particularly good impression on us, and we truly felt the sincerity and friendliness of the people of Qingdao. The room facilities are a bit dated but still clean. My husband loved lounging on the sofa, admiring the sea view, and kept saying how comfortable he was. Housekeeping was good; they cleaned regularly and replenished supplies. However, their response to personalized requests wasn't very proactive. For example, I noticed the kettle wasn't working and asked someone to check it. Initially, they suggested I try a different outlet, but the available outlets in the room weren't suitable for boiling water due to safety concerns. After I insisted, someone did come. It turned out the issue wasn't the kettle itself, but rather that the kettle's outlet only had power when the room card was inserted. Overall, housekeeping services met our basic needs. My child and husband enjoyed the buffet at the 25th-floor revolving restaurant. I personally found it to be good value for money, especially with the stunning, unobstructed 360-degree views and complimentary drinks. It was great. Overall, it was a wonderful stay! We'll likely choose this hotel again next time we visit Qingdao."

"This hotel felt like a factory dorm from a period drama. The electrical outlets in the room were broken, there were a lot of mosquitoes, and the bathroom had a slight odor, probably due to the age of the building, but it wasn't too severe. When we arrived, the staff helped with our luggage, but when we left, no one offered assistance. It's not that we absolutely needed someone to carry our bags, but the path leading out of the hotel is a gravel road, which made it really difficult to drag our luggage. Honestly, for this kind of room and service, it should really be around 500, but they're charging over 1000. At that price, you'd be better off choosing a Westin or Shangri-La."
