This place is right on the edge of the lake. If you book a cabin, I recommend rooms 13 and 14. The view is nice.

I went there in winter, and the room was a little cold, especially the bathroom. I was worried about catching a cold when I washed my hair and took a shower. But the lake view was great, there were delicious restaurants nearby, and it was also close to the Shepherd's Church. It's a great location right in front of Lake Tekapo (depending on the cottage).
There is a gas barbecue in the outdoor shared space, where we cooked at night.
Cats and ducks appear at night, and the night sky was amazing.
There's nothing around, but that's actually a good thing.
The room was clean, and although it was a shame that the shower was a bit impersonal, like in a hospital, it was very comfortable overall.
