The room service and laundry were really efficient. Although they have some run down older rooms, there are also large beautiful rooms available with hairdryer and wardrobe. The air conditioner worked well. The breakfast was decent. The downside was no hot water.

The hotel is very centrally located and has a few parking spaces, but not enough. The rooms are not in good condition and look very worn. The bathrooms are very small, very basic and damp. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the buffet is extremely large and varied, with an estimated 20 m of food and drinks on offer. The price-performance ratio is good.

Booked this place for a family visit at the start of March. Was shocked to witness the actual rooms as opposed to what is shown in the photos. The rooms are dark, smell of smoke, not cleaned properly and do not have any windows at all. People smoke in the corridors all the time further aggravating the situation. There is no concept of room service, no on comes to fix the beds, stained towels are provided, and the electric kettle they provided was filthy. No one should book this place.

This hotel was booked my a tour I was with and from the moment I arrived I was shocked! There is no proper reception - the men don’t speak English; it’s dark, dirty and smells of smoke. The corridors are dark and dingy. The rooms are disgusting! The decor looks like it’s still in the dark ages and the bathrooms - wow!! They are horrific! The hotel website is a complete photoshop of what the hotel is “like” The restaurant area is ok, but if you are sat outside and they use the BBQ area you are smothered in smoke. The hotel was that bad that within a few hours of arriving I checked out and moved across the road to the Ramada. This hotel is not 3 star …it’s not even 1 star! It’s by far the worst place I’ve ever been to.

hotel is shady, unclean, and the room stank of cigarettes. the owner advertised the room as having a balcony but the bell boy told us there are no balconies in the entire hotel. the owner then refused to charge for a room without a balcony. we cancelled and went to ramada hotel across the street - the bell boy (whose name we forgot to get) was polite and very helpful and went out of his way to help us carry our bags across to the other hotel, making sure we were inside before going back to the hellhole hotel that is rose palace.

Arrived after midnight for check-in. The staff were friendly and efficient. Room was average but clean. The best part of the stay was location of the hotel which provided free parking. The restaurant was large and very clean. The breakfast was a freshly laid buffet and was excellent.
