First the good: the hotel is centrally located and close to everything we wanted to do. Getting Ubers was relatively easy (except for the airport) and the hotel has a nice art collection. The breakfast buffet was good if you eat a lot of meat but not many options for people who don’t eat meat. Most of the staff was nice and pleasant. The not so good: upon arrival the hotel attempted to charge us for a complete extra night just to check in four hours earlier than the check in time of 2pm even though rooms were readily available. They also wanted us to pay extra for our airport pickup because our flight was delayed by one hour even though we gave them flight info for tracking weeks in advance. They did not disclose any extra fees until check in. They wanted to charge for everything they thought they would get away with. The food for room service was terrible. The rooms were not very clean as the vents were full of dust and lint and the bathrooms were moldy and old (the bed linens were clean though ). Overall, for the price, I would choose another option in Lagos.
Sheraton Lagos Hotel

Hotel location is good, very close to the airport. Because of the unusual traffic congestion in Lagos, it is important to catch the flight in time. In addition, the security check is strict to ensure safety and live in peace of mind. There is also a Chinese restaurant next to the hotel, the dishes are in line with Chinese dietary habits. Overall, it is recommended to go to Lagos.
Lagos Oriental Hotel

For a hotel at this price range, you should expect something better. The front desk was very unwelcoming, no smile, not at all helpful. The room although big, but empty, just the bed and a table and chair in one corner. The bathroom was very clean and the towels (but never complete) was always changed on a daily basis and the room made even though I had the sign do not disturb on! They has complimentary drinks in the fridge which included beer and soft drinks all free. Breakfast was your usual typical Nigerian food nothing to write about. The dinning room was way at the back of the hotel, if it rains you will have problems accessing it. The table cloth were all old and cheap quality for this standard, very disappointing. Had a room facing the lagoon, nice view. Overall I score this hotel average.
