First and last time we'll stay here. We were told to leave towels in basket and they'd be replaced. We left used towels in basket. They were not replaced by 1 when we ran out for a bit. We asked at front desk about picking up clean towels. We were told it would be taken care of by 3. We came back at 2 and left again at 3:30. Still no clean towels. Asked front desk yet again, for clean towels. Again told it would be taken care of. Returned at 8:30. Asked at desk if we could get clean towels. The gal said it's been taken care of. We get to our room and no towels. Call front desk and werwe told we had to come pick them up. We told her we Asked for them before coming up. The the response was, oh, well, thats not my responsibility. So after asking 3 times if we could have clean towels for our room, we had to return to desk yet again. Because it's not employees job to see that guests get clean towels. Very frustrating. Not good customer service. Add to that the hallways are lined with bags of trash. We've never had this poor service at other brand hotels. As I said, first visit and last.

We stayed one night for a wedding in the area. The front desk attendant was pleasant and check-in was quick and easy. We booked a 1-bedroom king suite, which was clean and comfortable overall, though a few issues stood out. The living room TV didn’t work, but we didn’t have time to address it and didn’t consider it a major inconvenience. The kitchen stove had a sign stating “no cooking, reheating only,” which seemed unusual, but we didn’t end up using it. The surrounding area felt safe but was a bit rundown. Our room faced an abandoned hotel, which gave off a creepy vibe—not the hotel’s fault, but not exactly appealing either. The outdoor common area wasn’t well maintained. At first glance, I thought it was closed, but then I noticed kids in the pool, which was filled with leaves. We chose not to use it due to the condition. Breakfast was standard Staybridge fare—nothing special, but it was well-stocked and clean. The indoor common areas were also well maintained. Overall, the staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the room served its purpose for a short stay, though I’d hesitate to stay longer unless some of the maintenance issues were addressed.

Why did you change...
I actually LOVE this hotel. My first stay was in 2024 for one night. The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was super clean. If I'm correct, I believe it was renovated. We decided to book it again. Augh!!! MAJOR disappointment. We stayed in room 218 and it was filthy!!! The bathroom was not clean and it's obvious that housekeeping only comes to change the sheets, if that. We always come with a large group and we spoke highly of this hotel. We will have to retract our comments. On a positive side, the bed and pillows are super comfortable!!!
