I believe this hotel will upgrade/renovation soon. At this moment please do upgrade and improve the pillow, mattress, induction cooker and most important is breakfast variety (fruit, cake, waffle). coffee and tea also not available 24/7.

April 30 we contracted with this property for a room block of 30 for a 2 week project in Lafayette. We had a travel agent who was in contact with the hotel several times a week and confirmation number for each of our booked rooms. Our employees started arriving the weekend of 4/30/22, some arriving very late at night after a full day of travel and delays, only to be turned away stating they didn’t have a reservation. In all, for a room block of 30, at least 25% had issues with no room at check-in for a sold out weekend. THIS PROPERTY DOUBLE BOOKED. They took our reservation but didn’t have the decency of to fulfill their agreement on the 30 rooms. I am a travel manager who often books large scale projects, this hotel and their management failed me and our team. The security of knowing you have a reservation and you would be welcomed upon arrival was shattered. Instead they left me scrambling, at all hours of the night, to find alternative lodging for our stranded employees. Imagine your flight just landed and you take an Uber to the hotel in which is holding your reservation. You arrive at 1:30am only to be told they don’t have a room for you. You are due to be at work at 6am performing critical IT functions for the hospital, and no place to sleep. Your a female and now stranded without transportation, in a new city, and now you have no room for the night. It’s devastating. This Scenario happened over and over all weekend. I have no complaints about the look and cleanliness of this property. But if you want the security of knowing without a doubt that you a place to sleep….think twice! They know how to take a reservation and write a contact for damages if WE cancel our reservations but they don’t honor their end of the deal. For reference. We had 130 employees staying in 6 Lafayette hotels over this same weekend. The Fairfield Inn and Suites was the only property to disappoint us. My advise, go elsewhere. Their are plenty of hotels nearby that bend over backwards to accommodate they deserve your business, not this one.

The cleaning of the room was unsatisfactory, the mattress was worn and needed replacing. The hotel advertised that shuttle services were available but front desk kept saying that there was no driver available to use the shuttle.

The matteres in the sleeper sofa was old rusty and a whole in it with no sheets orpillowa, Bath room had mold and dirt inthe corners of the floor and tub.

I absolutely would not recommend this place! Beware they will cancel your reservation when it’s taken out of your account over book the hotel and then when you go to check in they’ve given your room to someone else! We drove an extra 3 hours from an excursion to be closer to our vacation spot, to have the indoor pool for the kids while my husband with stage IV Cancer rests in the room. We had to make several stops due to my husbands pain being so severe and I get to this hotel and they’ve given away my room on top of the refund wasn’t back in my account. They “found” me another hotel with a beautiful outdoor pool they said by doing me a “favor” I get there and I have to pay more money to stay at a different hotel, I don’t have a refund and there is no pool the manager lied! DO NOT BOOK HERE!
