The place is an old house turned into an inn. High ceilings and a lot of room. The old bed was short for me, and stretching legs was uncomfortable. The linen is all 100% polyester. The restroom (WC and shower) is shared. It was not really comfortable to go there from the second floor.
The sea is in a few steps but there's no beach. One can't get to swim because of huge chunks of lava with sharp edges. You must walk half a mile up the coast to a sand beach.
We ordered a breakfast. It was two Filipino meals, and two instant chocos, like in a street eatery. Charged 762 pesos. Next times we would go to a neighbouring resort's restaurant. Prices in nearby grocery sellers are 30-50% higher than in downtown. It makes sense to take a tricie and go shopping in Robinson's.
A cherry on a cake was our tricie ride after checkout. It was a bike of somebody belonging to this 'family inn business ', because the place is far away from busy roads. Upon departure I gave the driver a hundred, and he said it was 250. The usual price for such a ride is about 80 pesos. I just told him to go away before I call the pulis.
So, the place has its ambience, but the location, the amenities, and the pricing are not okay.
