The best thing was its location. It was so close to the Kyoto Station that it made it easy for us to go around. It also had three shopping centres around and a lot of restaurants and cafes. The room and the amenities were great. The self check-in and check-out machine was convenient and a time saver! Lots of vending machines were available and a water dispenser was also available at our floor which we personally were thankful for!

It is a hotel with a very good location and very good service from the receptionist. The condition of the hotel is excellent, no complaints. The room is large, the bathroom is clean, the toilet is separated from the shower, there is a small part of the room where the maid works to clean every day. There is an onsen, a fitness room and a restaurant. I recommend it. If you come to stay in Kyoto, you must come to this hotel only. It is really good.

## Location
The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a convenient 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station. They also provide a shuttle bus service, with pickups conveniently located near Hoshino Coffee at the Hachijo Exit.
## Facilities
The highlight for us was that they thoughtfully arranged four beds to accommodate our group. Other facilities were fairly standard; the bedding wasn't particularly comfortable, and there was no laundry service available.
## Cleanliness
Very good.
## Environment
The room itself was quite spacious. Despite being close to the train tracks, the double-glazed windows provided effective soundproofing. As we're not especially sensitive to noise, we didn't find it disruptive and slept very well at night.
## Breakfast
Guests can choose between a French set menu on the 14th floor or a buffet breakfast on the 1st floor. Both options offered a good variety and were generally satisfying. The 14th-floor revolving restaurant also provides panoramic views of Kyoto.
## Service
The staff across all areas – from the lobby and front desk to the restaurants and shuttle bus drivers – were incredibly polite and enthusiastic, which was truly impressive. We particularly appreciated that the front desk had Chinese-speaking staff, making check-in very smooth.
## Overall
All in all, this hotel offers good value for money, and I would recommend it.

Amazing experience. Some traditional japanese vibes mixed with westernized traits.
It was our first time visiting a hotel with any resemblance to a traditional japanese hotel - this was a great entry point into this kind of experience.
As is traditional, you are required to leave your shoes in the footlockers by the entrance. You walk around the hotel in socks / barefoot. In some spaces wooden shoes are provided (example: public toilet on the first floor, toilet in the hotel room), everywhere else is socks-only.
The design is very traditionally looking, pleasing to the eyes.
Breakfast offers a combination of japanese and western dishes in a buffet style - so if you want to try some traditional japanese food, but are afraid you won’t like it - you will still have plenty of options (I will add a photo as an example - in reality the list of options is much bigger both in both japanese and western cuisines).
Onsen is great, works a long time (3pm-10am). We went there in the morning / day / evening — all times it was not too crowded, sometimes there were only a couple other people in there. The onsen are separate for men and women, so there is no need to check against any timetable (men hours / women hours, how some other hotels do it) - you can go any time when onsen is open.
Location is great too — multiple subway stations are close, Kyoto Tower is in about 10 minutes of walking. Many restaurants nearby.

We stay for 5 nights over Hearton. The location is great, close to railway station. Convenience stores are just less than 1 min walk.
The room is comfortable and good service. Big enough for us to open 2 luggage. Recommend..

The hotel's location is decent. It's just one stop from JR Kyoto Station, at Umekoji-Kyotonishi. After exiting the station, you can turn right and take the pedestrian overpass directly to the hotel. Just a tip: be mindful of the train schedule as services can sometimes be infrequent.
Cleanliness is excellent. The bathrooms feature a convenient wet/dry separation, and they provide P.O.L.A. brand toiletries. The hotel's public bath (大浴場) is a must-visit – it's impeccably clean.
The buffet breakfast is also very generous, offering a wide array of Kyoto's local specialties. Overall, it provides excellent value for money and was definitely the most satisfying hotel of our entire trip.

Scandinavian look to lobby with refreshments all laid out for check in guests. There are even DIY lockers to store luggage. Breakfast was great with lavish spread of Japanese crepes, rice, tuna etc.Fantastic stay with little knickers knacks and wonderful service. O pay downer was that car had to be parked a few streets away as hotel had only 3 reserved lots. Commercia concessionary overnight parking between 4 pm and 9 am the next day cost JPY 1200. Nevertheless it comes highly recommended and value for money.

I travelled to Japan for 20th time over the past many years. Been to Kyoto three times, this is one of the better hotel in times of value for money.
The hotel provides good breakfast, clean onsen, cleaning services and a coin laundry.
If coming from KIX, the airport bus stops directly opposite the hotel. The hotel location is perfect, where it is just across the JR station. As Kyoto is mainly using bus, the main bus terminal is within walking distance.
The breakfast is good- warm porridge, with local Kyoto dishes, bread, mochi, etc. so much variety.
Staffs are friendly and ready to help.
The only thing is that the bathroom is small, but that could be mitigated by the onsen.
Been to Japan countless times, I will definitely book this hotel again should I visit Kyoto! One of the better value for money hotel.

very convenient location near Kyoto station. Clean, new and big Triple room. Twin rooms are good enough too. Left luggage facilities and they hold luggage before check-in. Connected to 7-eleven. Wifi sometimes disconnects for family, but works well for me. Have to do self check-in and self checkout which can be tedious. Will book again if visiting Kyoto.

Outstanding
Zzakk wuVery good small apartment, fully equipped, warm and comfortable. The traffic is also very convenient, next to the subway and convenience store. It can be said that you can meet all your imagination of Japanese homestays and will definitely stay again if you have the opportunity.
GGuest UserWe booked a double room, which is close to the subway station, which is very convenient~
The boss is Chinese, and he added WeChat before we checked in. He was very considerate and polite to ask about the check-in time and confirm the itinerary. Because we arrived at night, we gave the door code. He also recommended some fun places in Kyoto~
Room: One bedroom, and one tatami room for dining (you can spread out the box). It's really very convenient~ and very clean.
Details:
The room has a flashlight, conversion plug, hair dryer, etc., which is very good~
The bed is relatively comfortable, and the tatami is also very comfortable to sit on~
Front desk: There is a microwave, and mineral water/coffee/tea are all free to take~
The boss is very considerate, and it is really a big praise!
The stay was so comfortable that I didn't take any photos hahaha~
I'll just post two pictures of the beautiful scenery of the Xia Ya River when I went out
Cconnie_kwokmyI stayed for 6 nights in the peak season of November and the price was not cheap. The staff is so polite. The kitchen floor in the room is quite dirty. The most disappointing thing is that the sound insulation is very poor. There are many people walking upstairs every night and it is very loud. After staying for 6 nights, only the last night was quiet because the two couples upstairs had checked out and had already packed their luggage around 5 a.m. We went out and met them checking out around 9 a.m. I wanted to report the noise the next morning, but the staff hadn't come to work yet. After that, I stayed for a while and forgot about it. Moreover, the table in the living room is very small. We bought food from a nearby supermarket to eat back, but there was not enough space, so we had to use our suitcases as the table. The door is electronically locked, so there is no need to bring a key when going out. Towels will not be changed during your stay, but there is a washing machine so you can clean yourself. Not many hangers and cutlery. The location is good, very close to the station, and there are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby.
GGuest UserI really have to commend this hotel; the rooms were spacious. They offer Chinese-speaking staff, and the service was exceptionally friendly. Complimentary drinks and coffee were provided. There's also a large, complimentary public bath on the second floor. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for getting around. It's just a one-minute walk to the subway station, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple is only 4 bus stops away. Dining options are also readily available, and there's a 7-Eleven convenience store right next door.
GGuest UserA design hotel that is particularly suitable for solo travelers. There was an art exhibition and explanation activity in the lobby on the day of check-in, and there was also an exhibition introduction in the room. The overall atmosphere is very good. There are more young and middle-aged guests. I focused on the logo design, which is indeed very simple. The room configuration is relatively simple. The whole building is also a renovation of an old building. There should be some environmental protection concepts. The lights are also dim. The breakfast is very good, semi-self-service, very rich, and you clean up after eating.
GGuest UserThis is a hotel located in the suburbs but in fairness close to an underground stop. Kyoto is spread out so that does not affect matters too much. The buses are frequent and good also nearby the hotel. My daughters said it had the feel of a converted prison but me thinks it is a first generation. Type hotel that has been renovated. The doors to each room are substantial and the rooms are very small and a bit cell like. It's clean.I was swayed by the free breakfast and dinner.Dont be is my advice..The same dinner is served all the time bland but OK. The breakfast is OK ,but I think quite good by Asian standards. Very few Westerners go to this hotel which is not a bad thing. The hotel was certainly busy. The Staffin the kitchen dining room were fairly rude but the ladies at reception were excellent .
VVanichakornAbout 10 minutes walk from subway station or you can take a bus or taxi to hotel
The hotel was nice and clean
Reception can speak English fluently
There is a convinient stores on the corner near bus stop
MMoyaoanThere is no 24-hour counter service. It is also very inconvenient to use the online contact information of trip. Please cancel the information on the website to avoid the inconvenience of travel planning. Wifi information is not easy to find. Other hardware is OK. The location is 10 minutes away from the train station.
