Waka Heian shirakawa Hotel

This hotel is close to JR Higashiyama, not on the Hankyu Line, so the convenience is average. The hotel rooms are large and the layout is relatively reasonable, but most of the windows on the elevator side are completely blocked. The bedding is average and there is hair. I asked the front desk guy to clean it up and apologized. He responded quickly, but the bedding was still the same. I can't blame the guy, hahahahaha
Fufu Kyoto

Fufu Kyoto is a truly special and luxurious experience, from the moment you are discreetly greeted at the hotel entrance and warmly welcomed with hot towels and yuzu tea as you are checked in whilst seated in your own privately segregated lounges. The Premium Suite was stunning, beautifully decorated, fully equipped with world class facilities and very spacious. The room was stocked with fluffy bathrobes as well as gorgeous kimonos and matching jackets to wear out during your stay. The private onsen timber bath was immaculate and impressive, fitting two people comfortably. The delicious and indulgent kaiseki breakfast and dinner experience were both very special and highly recommended. We had the exquisite dinner in a private room at their restaurant where we celebrated our son’s upcoming birthday (special commendation to the attentive team who made it very memorable for us), and we had the indulgent breakfast set up in our room in the most discreet manner. Thank you for a memorable ryokan experience and congratulations to the entire Fufu team!
Heian No Mori Kyoto

The hotel is adjacent to Okazaki Shrine. Kumano Shrine is also within walking distance. On the day of our stay, there were three buses parked there, which looked like they were for school trips, but it seems that they use the East and West buildings separately, and we did not see any students in the West building. The lobby is spacious. The alcohol disinfectant bottles were dressed in kimonos, which is typical of Kyoto. There were also artificial cherry blossoms in full bloom on display. Photo panels of Murasaki Shikibu and Michinaga are lined up in honor of the NHK Taiga drama ”To You, the Light”. Their faces are carved out so that you can take commemorative photos. The rooms on the 6th floor are spacious. Everything you need is provided. We took a bath in the large public bath ”Shiun no Yu” in the evening and morning. The room wear is only for use in the room, so you have to change clothes to go to the large public bath. The downside is that there are no restaurants around the hotel.

Kyoto Travellers Inn

I went by car, but the parking lot is also on the back side of the building, and I would like to do some sightseeing after checking out, so I was very grateful to hear the question if I could stop. The staff was very friendly and I was able to spend a pleasant time. Is the main building mainly a Western-style room? I think the annex on the back side is mainly Japanese-style rooms. Speaking of which, it was a pity that the underground bath could be taken until midnight but not early in the morning. The location is good, about 10 minutes on foot to Higashiyama Station on the Tozai Subway Line, and you can walk to Nanzenji Temple and Eikando. I would like to use it again.
Kyoto Nanzenji Ryokan Yachiyo Established in 1915

Our stay at Hotel Kyoto Nanzenji Ryokan Yachiyo was a serene escape into traditional Japanese hospitality. For dinner, we opted for the Kaiseki lunch box, which was an amazing culinary experience. The ryokan's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our stay, from the comfortable yukatas to the tranquil cedar tub baths. The ryokan provided not just accommodation but an authentic cultural experience, making our Kyoto visit truly unforgettable. A highlight of our trip to Japan. Highly recommended for those seeking a blend of tradition, comfort, and culinary exploration.
