great location- right opposite to kyoto station, convenient to many places very big hotel with tourist group and many visitors self check in at 3pm and if you go around 3pm the queue will be super long many restaurants and shops around

Skip the breakfast, very few warm items, and cold even when taken at 7 am in the morning. The room has different pillows, buckwheat which i have allergy to. The hotel has removed twi buckwheat pillows from my room after i told them. But the night manager said they have no buckwheat pillows. If its for location, maybe, but the room they originally placed me its facing stairwell of the next hotel. When i ask to change, slapped with a 2000 yen a night x 3 upgrade. There are many other hotels around kyoto station. Do consider the others.

The hotel is within walking distance of Kyoto Station, but we sometimes take a bus one stop. The lobby is clean and comfortable, especially the self-service luggage storage on the right hand side of the door. The room is small, but it has everything. There is also a bathtub for bathing, which is very comfortable for people who have walked all day. The shower head has a large amount of water and it is comfortable to rinse. It is not a problem to clean every three days. The trash can can be placed outside the door every day and it will be replaced when you come back. The bathrobe and shoe horn are quite comfortable arrangements.

The B&B is located in a residential area next to ”East Temple”. The surrounding environment is very quiet, and most of them are occupied by locals. You can take a bus in about 10 minutes' walk. The key point nearby is the ”World Cultural Heritage List Toji Temple”, which is only a 5-minute walk away. The room is a traditional Japanese single-family apartment with two floors, with a total of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shower room (wet and dry separation), a living room, and an open kitchen. The rooms are all self-service, and there are no waiters to clean them. Therefore, special care and hygiene must be taken into account in the rooms. Garbage must be sorted and put into the trash cans.

I stayed at a friend's homestay in Nakamosatori Japan when I was in Japan before and it was great. This time I experienced a homestay in Kyoto again. It was a very cozy homestay, very clean, and the facilities were pretty good. The transportation was quite convenient, and the surrounding buses were very convenient to several attractions. The most important thing was that I could cook Sukiyaki in the room. The black beef sold in the 24-hour supermarket recommended by the boss was great, much more cost-effective than what we ate in Kobe, and my family liked it very much. Next time I plan to stay a few more days to have a deep tour in Kyoto.

It is convenient to go to any scenic spot at the bus stop at the intersection. The community is very quiet, there is a small park at the door, and children can go there to play. The East Temple next to it is also very beautiful and easy to visit, and there are few tourists. It's great. You can immerse yourself in a Japanese B&B. The eel shop next to it is also very close, which is perfect for going back to eat when you are tired from shopping. It is a 5-minute walk from Toji Station and one stop from Kyoto Station. It is convenient for traveling to Osaka and the airport. The boss is also very enthusiastic.

The facilities in the house are very complete and clean. The Japanese room makes you feel very relaxed You can take a long bath in the bathroom The bedroom is very comfortable and the tatami makes me sleep well. I really feel that staying for one night is not enough There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy some simple food and cook it yourself. We bought a bento and came back to heat it up Then I bought a small meal bag and microwaved it for breakfast the next morning. I spent a day on holiday🤫 I will really come back next time The landlady is a nice person and she also provided us with Kyoto travel guide. A very pleasant stay I will definitely come back to stay in Kyoto in the future. You can take bus 208 to and from Kyoto JR Station Really recommend!

We had a good stay at Keihan Kyoto. The hotel was well located, just across the station which makes our move really convenient either by train , bus or metro. The room was big enough for the three of us. It has a large window, a bathroom with a small bathtub and a little sofa. We had a large bed with a comfortable mattress. The breakfast buffet offers Japanese dishes and several western options. Finally, the staff was really nice and helped us when needed.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is a 2 minutes walk from the Kyoto station exits, which makes it super convenient to travel around. We booked the most basic room, which is average size in JP standard. It is in walkable distance of AEON MALL (~15 mins) which makes it easy for some basic shopping. The breakfast is phenomenal. The food options are out on expectation, including Western and Japanese choices. The food quality is great and the breakfast time makes sense, so if you plan to travel early to tourists attractions, you can either grab an early breakfast, or come back for the breakfast right before it closes. There is a lounge for coffee and tea, and it is also great for some quiet reading or working. Toiletries are available next to the front desk and the staff are great in speaking English.
