This guesthouse is located near Kiyomizudera. You can literally walk there. It takes only 10 minutes walk to the train station which is very convenient. There's no elevator. You may have a hard time if you have big luggage with you (first hand experience). The bed is very comfortable. Before I even checked in, someone spilled sauces over one of the refrigerators and it stayed like that all of my stays, but other than that, this guesthouse is very clean. Also, the staff is kind and caring. When they know I'm Thai, they spoke my language! I was impressed. Overall, this is a great place to stay with affordable price.

This is a very smelly hotel. The second and third floors have different smells. The third floor may be airtight and unventilated, and there is a smell that makes people want to faint. I stayed there for one night and woke up feeling unwell. The public space is really too smelly. By the way, the Malaysian guy at the front desk is pretty handsome!
