This time, I made an appointment for two days of dinner and afternoon tea in advance, both at the Living Pavilion. All the staff in the restaurant were very polite and the service was impeccable. It was a very good stay. I walked around with the tour guide and deeply experienced the philosophy of light and shadow in the garden. One day of dinner was Japanese Kaiseki and the other day was Aman restaurant, each with its own characteristics. It was a pity that I didn't meet Chef Takagi again for Japanese Kaiseki (I met him in his hometown Zeniya a few years ago). It is a recommended hotel, and it is also one of the Aman hotels with Japanese Kyoto characteristics.
