Great location in the heart of Holland Village with modern and comfortable rooms

Nice modern room literally next to the sancho station lift. Huge bed ever they even provide pyjamas. Can rent a bike 200 yen per hour to ride around the historical place. Very reasonable.

The hotel is literally near everything, restaurants, shopping centers and a nice park.

I booked a premier twin with city view guest room in this Banyee Tree Group Hotel at Kyoto Sanjo district. The hotel location is very good and just slightly off Kyoto City shopping centres within a 5-10 mins walking distance, which is good for my family since we can do some walking exercise and looking for good japanese food everyday when we are going out without wasting time to find transportation and yet there is a sub-way train Sanjo station just right next to the hotel for linking up to other scene spots and even to Osaka and other places as you wish. The quality of hospitality service is good and some staff are hands-on and can communicate via english. The room interior is warm and comfort to my family and I like its comfy bed and sufficient hot-water rain-shower and both my family and myself had a good sleep there. The Wi-Fi speed is acceptable and the room cleaning service is also above average.

Location was good, less than 5 min walk to the metro station. The hotel lobby was artfully decorated, and the room was a mix of modernity and ancient vibes. Had a good night's rest due to the quality of the mattress.

Generally would like to rate 98/100 to this hotel! 👍🏻Location: Just right beside the subway station! Very convenient to travelers who are not familiar with Kyoto, especially after a tiring trip I just want to get to hotel as soon as possible without any hassles if possible. And the plus point is even this hotel is facing street but it’s quiet and no noise, besides that, along the street go straight down, got a lot of food and shops on shijo high street! 👍🏻Service: Service staff are friendly and professional! They are always keen to listen to your requests and answer your inquiries and follow your instructions accordingly! Surprisingly, they even went extra mile to make their customers more comfortable, I can feel they are taking their pride in their jobs which touches me. 👍🏻Cleanliness and Amenities also on point! The hotel is very new btw. The only 2 advices I would like to mention: 1. For my room type, there is difficulty to fit in big luggage, let alone for 2 persons so in that case please book bigger room. 2. Breakfast choice is quite limited, so if you had high expectation of hotel’ breakfast you might won’t be surprised. I still strongly recommend this hotel to people and will definitely visit it again as I really had a pleasant stay there.

Truly the best value for money hotel! It’s completely new n rooms aren’t small. Worth mentioning is the head concierge Hiroki san who had worked in the banyan tree Bangkok for 4.5yrs, his service is immaculate and speaks perfect English. He truly made our stay so much better. Dhawa Yura will for sure be the hotel or choice in kyoto
