We have a great experience to stay in Ben’s guesthouse. The owner did his best to accommodate my request. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and it comes with a mini kitchen and washer. Overall, we are satisfy with the booking.

The rooms in Kyoto are unexpectedly better than the price. It's a grace house with someone taking care of it. But if check-in is later than 3 p.m., you have to take the key yourself. OK, we were lucky to stay on the ground floor, no need to walk up. The room is big, the equipment in the room is complete. There are bicycles for rent to ride around the city. Stated got parking but in the end it was a paid parking. And then when check in still need pay extra 2400 yen? I have been to many airbnb usually just need pay deposit and will return later but this ben's guesthouse need us to pay and no return. In addition, our room is in the fourth floor with to lift. We need to carry 6 of our big luggage up. Very dissapointing
