Very atmospheric room, we liked it. The reception is located nearby in another building, but they inform about it in advance. You can leave your things before check-in from 9. Very good staff, who informed us about everything.

Suitable for 1-2 people. The environment in the room is good. The poor sound insulation is understandable, but it is not in the downtown area and is very quiet on weekdays. It is only about 30 minutes' walk from Ninsanenzaka. You can walk there in the early morning to take pictures of the deserted scenery.

The Hotel got our booking wrong and was not helping us at all.
To have the room we actually booked we had to pay up more at the check in.
Fortunately the customer service of trip was so nice to help us out with this.
The Tatami was way to small also.

Very quiet, quite retro, and hygienic. The only thing is that the faucet in the bathroom can be designed to be higher. I don't want to sit down to take a shower. Then put two hooks in the bathroom to put down clothes. Because it is a public bathroom, you can't put clothes on it.
