The hotel is very close to Tambaguchi and Umekoji Keisai JR Station, and it is very convenient to go to Arashiyama, Nijo Castle, and Kyoto Station. The hotel is in a residential area, and the surrounding area is very quiet and clean. The front desk guy speaks very good English and has no barriers to communication throughout the whole process. The hotel's rooms are large, and the tatami and quilts are super comfortable; the tea and glutinous rice dumplings in the room are delicious. Be sure to experience the hotel's large bathhouse, which is great and clean, and the bathhouse is open for a long time (6:45-23:00). The breakfast is Japanese, a very beautiful set meal, but the taste is slightly unsuitable for children (I also forgot to ask if there is a children's set meal). Overall, it is highly recommended. If you have friends who are staying with children, ask the front desk guy if there is a children's breakfast.

The hotel is quite close to the subway station, Tanbaguchi Station, about a seven-minute walk. It is decorated in a very Japanese style. The front desk is full of handsome men and beautiful women. I also met a person who can speak Chinese. The second floor of the hotel is a restaurant, the third floor is a hot spring, and the fourth floor has an open-air hot spring, which is very authentic. There are residential areas near the hotel, and there are many places to eat. There is also a park where many people run. We tried eel rice, sushi, and cold noodles in the restaurant on the second floor of Kyoto Hotel. It was delicious! A nearby izakaya is also very authentic and the price is fair. Next time I come to Japan, I will consider staying again.
