The Orchards Niseko

Just spent a fantastic week at Shimai (chalet 63) - the house is cozy, has lots of board games and a nintendo switch, a nice onsen downstairs, comfy beds and a private shuttle to the ski slopes! Had a fantastic time and I will be back next year. Really felt like we were in the middle of nature but also just 5min away from the town and the slopes!

My second stay at The Orchards Niseko and it kept up to it's promise. Stayed in Chalet No 63 called Shimai which was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our group of 6 friends. The chalet has everything you need, including a washer+dryer, private en-suite Onsen, a TV + Nintendo, a BOSE soundbar and a fully equipped kitchen. While it's a bit away from the busy Niseko village, we really enjoyed the quietness and the free shuttle service brings/picks you up from the slopes in 5 mins. Even went for a run around the area

A spacious and nice chalet The chalet is very spacious, bright, well maintained and fully equipped like a real home. All the utensil and cutlery in the kitchen are in very good condition. The beds are quite comfortable. There is only one thing I was not satisfied is there is no blackout curtains. Only blinds that block view but not light were installed. The sun rises near 4am in summer. I am a light sleeper and I would be awakened whenever the room began to turn brighter and ended up with insufficient sleep.

If I had to choose a word to describe this place—and only one—I'd called it enchanting. But don't worry, I'm going to write a little bit more. Stepping into Shimai is like going into a magical garden. Yes, it's beautiful. It's designed well. The place is full of great art! But yet, there is something special about stepping into Shimai. It's more than an experience. It's an emotion. Shimai means "sisters" in Japanese. And this place is steeped with love. Go there to make memories, propose, tell stories or even make babies. The magic will follow you. There's an warmth that permeates the chalet, making it easy to settle in and relax. The design is a perfect balance between comfort and creativity, ensuring that every space, whether it's a reading nook or a communal area for games and entertainment, feels inviting and enjoyable. Speaking of entertainment, Shimai Chalet has plenty to offer. Whether you're in for some friendly competition on the pool table, a nostalgic trip down memory lane with the Pacman machine, or a movie night with the high-quality TV and Bose soundbar, it's all there. The thoughtful selection of books, toys, games, and drawing materials adds a playful touch, encouraging guests to unwind, have fun, and let their creativity flow. Go lah. amazing experience staying at Shimai house at Orchards Niseko; personal favorite aspect is the heated floors - makes such a difference after a long day on the slopes in ski boots; just an amazingly cozy stay for large groups / family. would highly recommend
