The Mandarin Resort is a special Place directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. Hanna and his staff took excellent care of us and the service was 10 out of 10 I recommend Mandarin Resort because of the perfect private beach which is picture perfect. The food and hospitality was absolute satisfying Book !

Very kind and friendly Hotel and the staff is superb and very helpfull and kind. The food is served in an nice, open Restaurant obove the beach, where you can feel the breeze. And the food is very delicious with a big variety every day. The hotel itself ist clean, well maintained and beautifull arranged. The rooms are spacious with a working aircon and an additional room to store the luggage. Finally the Pool is kept well, the water is treated and the area is clean and nice. Sometimes coconuts fresh from the palm are served. We have an incredible time here.

We had a lovely stay at Mandarin Resort. The hotel is clean and well-located, with everything within easy reach. The food was fresh and varied, and we always found something we liked. The highlight was the staff, especially the chef Amr. He was approachable, kind, and genuinely cared about how guests were doing. His presence added a personal touch to the whole experience. We’d be happy to stay here again on our next visit to the area.

I definitely recommend this hotel. Beach is incredible as well as services. The Chef is preparing all we need even apart from the menu. Food is delicious as well as drinks. My child fell in love with this Hotel. Rooms are clean. Despite that there is only 20 rooms animation team always take care of guest organising many sport and evening activities like games, karaoke, volleyball, aqua gym, joga. It is not a croudy place with a lot of tourists but oasis of peace and chill out. For Mandarin team there is no word “impossible”. If i ever come to Zanzibar I would not hesitate to choose Mandarin Resort.

Beautiful, peaceful breakaway. We received excellent service from everyone at the resort, the accommodation was beautiful with breathtaking views. They were very accommodating even their general manager was eager to assist. We felt like part of the family.

We truly recommend Mandarin Resort Zanzibar. It was a magical experience and the location is dreamy. The rooms are very clean and they keep them spotless throughout the whole stay. The staff is excellent and we want to thank Hanna, the restaurant manager, and the chef for the exceptional food. The entertainment team is also amazing, very kind and always making your stay unforgettable. Thank you, Pascal, for the wonderful energy. The beach front is absolutely magnificent. They are also very caring with mosquitoes, spraying the rooms every night, which makes a big difference for comfort. Our time here was truly unforgettable and we are very grateful. Thank you very much.

Hospitality here is truly 10/10. From the moment we arrived at 11pm, the staff offered and delivered exceptional service—welcoming us with cocktails, taking care of check-in, decorating our room with flowers, and even surprising us with a hot dinner at midnight. Every staff member greeted us warmly and made sure we had everything we needed. The meals were delicious, the beach was breathtaking (especially at low tide when the ocean recedes nearly a mile), and the room was comfortable and beautifully prepared. Though our stay was just 36 hours before heading to the Serengeti, the kindness and attentiveness of the staff made it unforgettable. We hope to return for a much longer visit!
