Mandarin Resort Zanzibar

What an amazing hotel! From welcome to checkout, the service, welcome and genuine interest in my experience was second to none. Beautiful room overlooking incredible view, kept spotlessly clean with lovely touches daily with bedding arranged with floral decoration. Grounds so well maintained and very pretty. Pool area was clean, with great sunbeds. Cocktails served to me without having to move a muscle. The food was delicious, varied and the amazing Chef was happy to make anything on request. I was offered a floating breakfast which I didn’t have but saw a couple have - looked so pretty and delicious. I did have a spectacular seafood private dinner on my terrace by my little pool. Beautifully cooked seafoods including lobster, squid, prawns. Only complaint is there was enough for two! I couldn’t eat it all. Choice of wine, personal service overseen by Hana, the maitre’d . Hana went above and beyond throughout my stay. Exceptional.it was amazing to see all the management team so present, interacting with all the guests, Chef, Hana, Magdi - the manager. Their oversight of the hotel throughout the day and evening was outstanding. Magdi was so accommodating, friendly and professional. Arranged anything and everything I wished for. I was made to feel like family by all the staff and left feeling like I was leaving friends. I must mention Pascal and Hardin, animation, lovely energetic boys. This small gorgeous hotel is a must if going to Zanzibar. Go. I will definitely be returning and cannot recommend highly enough

Our experience at this resort was truly special – relaxing, pampering, and full of good vibes. The resort has a private beach, which made everything even more peaceful and exclusive. The hotel staff were kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We honestly had the best vacation we could have imagined! The food was delicious, varied, and satisfying. Hanna, who manages the dining room, was exceptionally pleasant, professional, and always made sure our meals were perfect. We also want to mention Khaled, who was in charge of the entertainment and activities – he made every day fun and full of great energy. We had such a great time that we didn’t even want to leave the resort — it had everything we could possibly wish for!

The Mandarin Resort is a special Place directly on one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. Hanna and his staff took excellent care of us and the service was 10 out of 10 I recommend Mandarin Resort because of the perfect private beach which is picture perfect. The food and hospitality was absolute satisfying Book !

Very kind and friendly Hotel and the staff is superb and very helpfull and kind. The food is served in an nice, open Restaurant obove the beach, where you can feel the breeze. And the food is very delicious with a big variety every day. The hotel itself ist clean, well maintained and beautifull arranged. The rooms are spacious with a working aircon and an additional room to store the luggage. Finally the Pool is kept well, the water is treated and the area is clean and nice. Sometimes coconuts fresh from the palm are served. We have an incredible time here.

I definitely recommend this hotel. Beach is incredible as well as services. The Chef is preparing all we need even apart from the menu. Food is delicious as well as drinks. My child fell in love with this Hotel. Rooms are clean. Despite that there is only 20 rooms animation team always take care of guest organising many sport and evening activities like games, karaoke, volleyball, aqua gym, joga. It is not a croudy place with a lot of tourists but oasis of peace and chill out. For Mandarin team there is no word “impossible”. If i ever come to Zanzibar I would not hesitate to choose Mandarin Resort.

Beautiful, peaceful breakaway. We received excellent service from everyone at the resort, the accommodation was beautiful with breathtaking views. They were very accommodating even their general manager was eager to assist. We felt like part of the family.
