It’s a very nice hotel nice location. Food is great at the restaurant. The room is very clean but there was little hot water so we couldn’t fill the bathtub. The service needs to be enhanced, we arrived but no one there to take the luggage so I had to carry them. The cleaning lady came to our room an hour before the check out time and she put her cleaning stuff in our terrace. Jembe the pool boy was very friendly he showed us around the hotel and took some good photos for me and my wife.

The one positive thing is the property is nice. The service was lacking and value was definitely not worth it. We booked the house in the trees. The rooftop balcony was private for our room but people would wander up there continuously. There was a festival at the hotel when we stayed. We thought that was neat but in the night people woke us up going to the rooftop balcony again. We were also charged different prices at the same bar when we would order the same drinks. When we checked out the reception also charged me more than what was due. When I questioned it she said she thought the taxi was $45 not $35 that we had arranged. Although, even if it was $45 there was still a $5 discrepancy. That felt sketchy to me to have the fluctuating prices. A security guard from the festival also tried to charge us « interest » for going from our room to the bar too many times. The outdoor bathroom although we thought was beautiful had monkies visit (no fault of the hotel) but left monkey poop everywhere making showering etc less than desirable. There were also kids running all over the place saying their mom was the manager and how they get everything for free. I found that tacky and distasteful when you have guests paying a lot to be there. All in all I would not recommend or return.

Zusammengefasst: Dieses Hotel bietet nichts, was den hohen Preis rechtfertigt, außer der Lage und vielleicht ein paar netten Mitarbeitern, die wirklich die einzigen sind, die hier positiv aufgefallen sind. Für den Rest kann ich nur sagen: Nie wieder! Wer sein Geld nicht zum Fenster rauswerfen möchte, sollte dringend woanders buchen."

Siamo tornati al The Nest Boutique Hotel, la location è leggermente cambiata, alcune cose sono migliorate , altre le preferivo prima, tuttavia è sempre un bel Resort , molto particolare, in un contesto naturalistico selvaggio, il tratto di spiaggia dove affaccia il The Nest è il mio preferito in quanto, è defilato dal vero cuore di Paje , rimanendo per ore molto tranquillo, poi verso sera si anima anche qui, ma in pochi minuti si raggiunge la vivace Paje. Abbiamo pranzato, il menu' e' un po cambiato ( forse anche il nome del ristorante vegetariano), anche i prezzi sono leggermente aumentati in $, devo essere onesta, abbiamo mangiato meglio l'ultima volta gennaio 2024, purtroppo ho preso i cestini di grana con due mousse, quella con il guacamole buoni , la mousse alla barbabietola era acida purtroppo non l'ho potuta mangiare ! poi abbiamo ordinato un wrap di chapati vegetariano, ma è arrivata una piadina di Chapati quindi non arrotolato , che era anche difficoltoso mangiarla perchè usciva tutta la farcitura e anche questa era un mix che non ci è molto piaciuto. Non so se siamo stati sfortunati noi nel scegliere i piatti , oppure hanno cambiato lo chef , proveremo la prossima volta! Il personale è cortese e il posto originale, alzerei l'asticella sul cibo!

Wir wurden von Jacqueline bedient. Sie ist eine super nette und aufmerksame Kellnerin. Das Essen war sehr lecker, jedoch dauerte die Zubereitung etwas mehr Zeit als erwartet und unser Hauptgang kam gleichzeitig mit den Vorspeisen. Wir fanden das Ambiente sehr gemütlich und auch der DJ traf unseren Musikgeschmack.

The Nest is amazing! Jaqline, our server, is the friendliest and one of the best here! Glad I chose to stay at the Nest during my visit to Zanzibar! The beach is unbelievably beautiful and the hotel pool with swing is a must visit spot in Zanzibar!

Tropical Attention le restaurant est végétarien. Amateurs de BBQ et fruits de mer repérez les resto alentours Le personnel est extrêmement aimable et sympa 😊 et le cadre forêt tropicale Ce resort accepte les enfants (même mal élevés) et les chiens … à faire en famille végétarienne

On a réservé 2 chambres (villa vue sur la piscine) et on a passé un moment parfait. L’hôtel est top et le restaurant parfait. On est en demi-pension et on avait le choix de prendre entrée plat dessert à la carte. C’était délicieux. Pour le petit déjeuner on a également eu le choix entre 2 plats à la carte. On a réservé qu’une nuit (la dernière de notre séjour sur zanzibar) on a fait plusieurs hôtels et celui ci restera un de mes préférés, on a regretté de ne pas avoir réservé plus longtemps dans cet hôtel. Tout le personnel a été bienveillant et agréable. On avait notre avion à 23h et on a pu rester la journée sur l’hôtel. Parfait 👌🏻 merci à lucy pour le prêt de la chambre jusqu’à l’heure de départ. C’était juste une dernière journée parfaite 😌

Nous avons passé la journée au Beach club avec un déjeuner sur place et les cocktails. Je recommande fortement. Les places sont délicieux, juste un peu cher pour le secteur. L’hôtel a l’air incroyable, lors du prochain séjour, nous réserver une chambre ici!
