Great hotel but very little English spoken by the staff. Location is convenient for fast food and Fisherman’s Wharf and farmers market.
A word of advice. Choose a larger room. I was there for several days and appreciated the extra room. I saw some of their standard room and they sure looked a bit small. Kuchiro is a compact city and easy to walk around on foot. This is a nice hotel. Restaurant is good, but breakfast buffet has very small potions to take. They are also very strict on their closing time. They expect you out when the restaurant is set to close.
All in all I think the best choice in Kuchiro.

The hotel is very close to the station and has convenient transportation. Although the room is small, it has complete facilities! The hotel staff also provided good service. Even if I accidentally booked a smoking room, the hotel staff could help change it. Thank you very much!

Very cost-effective hotel, the room is clean and comfortable, there are two washing machines available in the lobby on the first floor, the parking lot needs to be paid separately, but it is very cheap, although the breakfast options are not many but very delicious, the Lulu station and the coin dance bridge can be reached on foot, there is a convenience store opposite the hotel.

I was able to stay for 3 nights with peace of mind.
I had intended to request non-smoking, but it turned out to be a smoking room, and when I entered the room, I felt uncomfortable.
I had to put up with it until it started to smell and roused me for a while.
Everyone comes back late from a night out and it's a problem if you shout loudly...
I wish the hotel staff would be careful in advance...

The resort is split between the Main Building and the newer Wing Building. The Main Building exudes a more traditional atmosphere, while the Wing Building presents a contemporary take on relaxation, but both are bound together by their dedication to Ainu motifs—from the intricately designed lift doors to the towels, celebrating the indigenous culture of Hokkaido.
The onsen baths are, without a doubt, the crown jewel of the resort. In the Main Building, the basement offers an extraordinary variety of baths, from the enchanting Cave Bath to the rustic Log Bath, carved from a thousand-year-old tree. The Bubble Bath delivers a gentle, soothing soak, but the Massage Bath steals the show. MMin ChiehThe hotel was great! The onsen was really just a public bath, but was still comfy. Free snacks on the top floor like ice cream, yakult at different timings made it even better. There was even free ramen supper on the ground floor at night. Room was comfy. Location is great, with the airport bus stop just around the corner, and other bus stops to bring us around.

RRyuaAsamiYou can see it when you exit Kushiro Station, across the street, a big sign! Basically all budget hotels are available, except that the rooms are small and the luggage can be opened. Although there are not many types of breakfast, there are meat, eggs, milk, and vegetables (broccoli 🥦), and the taste is not bad! If you only stay for one night, you must choose a hotel close to the station. In winter, the bus to see the lake also departs from the door. You can walk a little further for meals, and there are still many choices!

YYuanyuandaidaiFedalIn order to take a red-crowned crane from Tokyo Feiyu Road. The hotel is right by the bridge (pictured, mirrored). I have to say that the surrounding area is really unsightly and quiet in winter.
The room is big, the bathroom is huge, quiet, and sleepy.
Recommend the seafood directly opposite the hotel, 1,500 yen per person, can eat emperor crab. Winter is the highest!
At five o'clock in the morning, I set off to shoot the crane. The front desk intimately gave two big bags to warm the baby. Although I also prepared it, I was still warmed.

GGuest UserThis hotel is very new, local next to the bus terminal and actually part of the hotel is used for the bus office / terminal. They provide free drinks (including alcohol) from 3pm to 9pm in the restaurant, enjoy when it is available.
The breakfast has a limited choice, but it is a buffet. The public bath is shared between men and women with time slots. Around 300 yen for washing but drying is free. The room was rather small but they put a huge double decker bed with a king size bed in the bottom, it was a comfortable sleep but not much room to move in the room. Key is using a number lock system which is quite interesting. A super huge TV in the room mounted to the wall. My room is facing east and I able to see sunrise in the morning.
Note that there are quite a few pot holes from the train station to the hotel. During that day, when I move my luggage to the hotel, the wheels get stuck into a new filled pot hole and travellers need to be aware.

GGuest UserExcellent location, right in front of Nusamai Bridge and walking distance to the fisherman wharf. There are a lot of eateries around the hotel, all with pretty good reviews. Breakfast was great too, lots of selection and taste good. The only thing I don't quite like was the room. Booked a 3 bedded room, room was clean, no view, basic amenities, nothing special about the room. Air con is controlled by a centralised system, I went in June, and it was too warm at night. I feel the price is quite expensive for the room.

Staff could not speak English. Room was very small. The hotel almost kissed the building of next door for those rooms below 5th floor. I was on the 4th floor, hence, I could only see the outside environment from a very narrow gap. WIFI was not strong in every part of the room. Be patient to walk around for the stronger WIFI connection. Not many shops around.

GGuest UserService is average as they only speaks Japanese. It's a shared toilet facility which is not so convenience. Have to go all the way down to 1st floor to bath in the onsen room with the mass public make me a little bit embarrasing. All facilities was quite run-down with poor maintenance. Only good things is the breakfast which is quite localised and yummy.
