Kusatsu-Onsen Hotel Resort Reviews

The view of the hotel room was fabulous and environment was also very good. Also, the onsen is very big. I would really love to give a next visit in this hotel again.

Given that the hotel is abit old, the 3 star cleanliness is referring to the old facility at guy side onsen. It’s not maintain well and everything looks old. It’s 10mins walking distance to bus terminal and another 5-6mins to yubatake. Bonus point gives to free shuffle from/to daitokon with the very precise bus schedules. Room is clean but bear in mind, it’s not non-smoking hotel so might have chance to smell cigarette smell in room. Fortunately, our room is good. Overall we satisfy with our stay at kusatsu onsen resort.

Stayed in Western Room which is around 65 sqm. Good value for monies with much to do inside hotel and surrounding area. Free shuttle service to Yubatake. Plenty of shopping and eateries in that area. Enjoyed meals in the hotel too.

Just 3 star resort and its service. Onsen good.

Unsure if we were here in a low-season, but I feel like this place was very popular in the past and still has a lot of potential. Loved staying here. Only downside is that it's on top of a hill, which can be quite a walk if you're unfit haha.

It was a bit far to get to the center of Kusatsu, but there was a shuttle bus and it was quite satisfactory. The breakfast was delicious and I could rent a yukata. And the comic book store, table tennis court, and hot spring were also good.

The service staff is friendly, the room is retro but very clean, and there is a shuttle bus to the street, which is very convenient. One night and two meals is a good value.

The service attitude is very good. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is very clean and cost-effective. I highly recommend it!

The food was delicious both in the evening and in the morning. There was a free shuttle bus to the Yubatake, so it was easy to get to! We stayed as a group and it was a great experience!

Pick-up and drop-off services to the ski resort, Yubatake, and bus terminal are available even before check-in, and luggage can be left there, making it very convenient for those who have transportation other than their own car.

It would have been better if the room had been cleaned a little better. The food was ala carte, but there was plenty and it was delicious. As for the meal times, dinner started at 8:30, which made it difficult to go out after dinner. If you could choose the time of your meal, it would have been nice to be able to request this when making your reservation.
