Sorry, I only remembered to take pictures when I was leaving, so the room was a bit messy. But this time the hotel was very well chosen, because the flight arrived in Kunming at 11 o'clock at night, and I wanted to stay near the airport, but considering that I had to catch the train to Dali the next day, I made an appointment with this hotel online. This hotel is really good, it only takes five minutes to walk to the train station, it is very clean, there is hot water at any time, the room is also very soundproof, and I slept until I woke up naturally. The breakfast is also good, no problem to eat full, the rice noodles are also very delicious.

Its a new hotel just right across Kunming train station north gate. The rooms have all amenities necessary and are modern. Stayed here for one night so didn’t explore around much. Staff was also very helpful and accommodating. Wifi is not from the hotel so it requires a code sent to your Chinese mobile number. The hotel can arrange that specially for individual devices but you need to come with the device to the reception.

The Shihuayijing Hotel was recently opened in 2022, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Kunming. It is approximately 3 kilometers away from Kunming Old Street, Nanping Pedestrian Street, and Nanqiang Night Market, 4 kilometers away from Cuihu Park and the Military Academy of Yunnan, and only 4 kilometers away from Yuantong Mountain Zoo. In addition, it is 2 kilometers away from Shuangqiao Night Market, about 8 kilometers away from Haigeng Dam of Dianchi Lake, Haigeng Park, and Yunnan Nationality Village. There is also the Haoyue Tiandi Shopping Mall nearby, which is only 1 kilometer away from the hotel. Transportation: • To the railway station: It is extremely convenient to get to Kunming Railway Station, which is only 100 meters away and can be reached on foot in about 1 minute. • To the airport: It is 24 kilometers away from Kunming Changshui International Airport. It takes about 50 minutes to get there by subway and bus, but there are many transfers; it only takes about 35 minutes by taxi. • To the high-speed railway south station: It is 22 kilometers away from the High-speed Railway South Station in Chenggong District, Kunming. It takes about 70 minutes by subway, with a lot of walking involved; it takes about 40 minutes by taxi. • Travel within the city: There are many bus routes around. If you don't want to take public transportation, taking a taxi is also very convenient. It usually takes about 15 minutes to get to each scenic spot. For the nearby Shuangqiao Night Market, it is convenient to go there by bike or taxi. And you can reach the Haoyue Tiandi Shopping Mall on foot in about 15 minutes.

Very helpful and lovely reception desk which made me feel welcomed immediately. As it was low season, they upgraded our rooms to a larger one. Thank you. Location wise, they are located within a cluster of other buildings and hotels. Unlike conventional hotel, they do not have their own driveway unfortunately and the main road in front of the hotel (Youping road) isn't ideal for dropping people off nor allowed cars to hang around. That means our car had to alight us about 5 mins away and we were left to fend for ourselves navigating the area in the rain. If you have large heavy luggages or elderly and children to manage, it is advisable to ring them up in advance for direction advise. As we were international guests, we had some issues locating the hotels in the cold rain. Oh well. On the upside, helpful staff, great rooms, well-equipped with everything that you need, simple buffet breakfast. They even helped packed our last day breakfast as we have to catch an early train at the Kunming train station which is about 5-10 mins walk away. The walk is manageable even with my elderly parents but I suggest you do a quick check of the route beforehand as it is a bit of maze in Kunming city. If it rains, it could be troublesome. Fortunately, the rain stopped on the morning we had to leave. Overall, I appreciate the professionalism of this hotel. Plenty of eateries and convenient shops in the area. Lots of flower biscuit shops too for any last minute souvenir purchases and there's also a 7-11 nearby.

One of the best hotel stay in yunnan. The view was impeccable. The room was clean and all the basic necessities are provided. It is situated at walking distance from KMG railway station and easy to find. There are a lot of convenience store and restaurants nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Overall, everything was great and exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. I was especially impressed with the service and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
