Kunming Jinning District 5-star Hotels

Every time I go to the Ancient Dian Kingdom, I stay at these hotels. Facilities: Well maintained, large rooms, plenty of hot water Sanitation: Clean, we stayed for two days and they cleaned up every day, even the slippers that the children left behind were put away Environment: Right next to the park, convenient for playing, and also has the relaxation and tranquility of a resort hotel Service: Attentive service, although there is no private butler, you can contact us at any time to solve any problems immediately Breakfast is also rich and suitable for family travel

The location is very good. The tent is independently built on the water, which feels a bit like a water villa in the Maldives. You can watch the sunrise and it is very quiet. The hotel is next to the cultural park in the village, but there is a separate access control to ensure privacy and security. There are food and drinks in the village park and a camping base, which is very convenient. It is quite interesting. There are fireworks and bonfires during the Chinese New Year. Next to the Dianchi Lake, you can see the sunset and there is a beach. The hotel is a tent, there is air conditioning in the house, there is an electric blanket on the bed, so it won’t be cold, and the bath water temperature is also sufficient. There is also wind heating in the shower room. The bedding is very clean and the mattress is moderately soft and hard. When we went there, the wind was very strong, and the tent would shake slightly. The tent was a little misplaced and the zipper on the outside could not be pulled up. The temperature in the house did not rise at night, but it was not cold to sleep on the bed. Also, because it is a tent, it is not very soundproof. At night, the family next door with a few children talking and laughing can be heard clearly. There was a little disturbance to rest, and the staff was very dedicated and immediately coordinated and solved it. There was no noise after twelve o'clock. The breakfast is very rich and will be delivered to the room. Sitting on the balcony outside the tent, looking at the lake and mountains, eating breakfast and drinking coffee in the warm sun is quite pleasant. If you want to get close to nature and experience the local food culture, but have certain requirements for accommodation, you can choose here.

I was really taken advantage of by the Dianchi Right Bank Lakeside Resort Hotel! I have always wanted to find a high-end boutique hotel by the Dianchi Lake to relax and unwind. I discovered this newly opened five-star high-end homestay hotel on Ctrip. It was truly an unforgettable stay. As soon as you step into the hotel, you can feel the quiet and high-end atmosphere. Every detail of the wabi-sabi aesthetic design shows taste and is full of artistic sense. The hotel's environment, facilities and services are impeccable. It is definitely a great choice for a relaxing vacation! The room is high-end and elegant, and is very exquisitely decorated. The texture of the furniture is great, the sofa is lazy and comfortable, and the bedding is soft, making you not want to get up once you lie down on it. The beautiful view of Dianchi Lake outside the floor-to-ceiling windows seems to have moved the entire scenery of the lake and mountains into the room. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the sparkling lake, and your mood is instantly healed. The hotel’s infinity pool is a great photo opportunity, and my friends’ circle has been flooded with my photos! In the evening, sit by the pool, watch the sunset, feel the breeze, and immerse yourself in tranquility and beauty. I was also impressed by the hotel's breakfast. The variety is rich and varied, including both local specialties and various Western dishes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is very good. It is such a pleasant feeling to have breakfast by the window, admire the lake view outside the window, taste delicious food and start a beautiful day. Highly recommended to everyone! If I have the chance in the future, I will definitely come again!

Wanted a special place for some relaxing time together. Do not want to try the usual hotel in the city. After going through the photos, decided to give it a try. And voila….. absolutely no regrets choosing this hotel. The service provided was top notch, the staff are friendly, courteous and prompt. Housekeeping staff always clean up the villa to a level which I had no way to complain. Always willing to go the extra miles in providing personal services to the guests. The Villa I booked had a private hot spring and a huge garden which had the best view in my opinion. Every evening, we are able to watch the sunset in our private garden. It was really out of this world, couples must definitely try it. Everyday the hotel will provide a fruit basket and top up the bar counter with drinks and snacks at no costs. The ever-friendly staff (Miss Lee) even told me to let her know if there are any fruits I would like, she would arrange to fill it up in the fruit basket. She even check with me a few times if there are anything she could do to improve the stay with the hotel. Kudos to the management team for instilling this high service standard. Miss Lee even contacted me after I check out to ask for my feedback. Keep up the wonderful work. I will definitely be back. For this trip is filled with so much wonderful memories. JinLangYuan Hotel is a very nice hotel. Hotel is very clean and centrally located. The hotel looks modern, with just one calling ”siao tu, siao tu”, you can commend to open aircon, tv, blinds and lights. Rooms are big with complete amenities. Breakfast is sufficient with variety to choose from salad, congee, noodles, sandwich, pastries that comes with coffee and tea. Hotel personels are quick to respond to our requests with smile. Lots of eateries and stores just outside the hotel. JL hotel is just across the NANpING pedestrian street, where one can shop, dine and do other activities, very accessible to transportation. Will surely stay in this hotel when in Kunming.

The room is a little small for 3, the toilet is super big but there isnt space to place your clothes when you shower without them getting wet. There isnt much space to hang your clothes. Location is okay, it's a long walk to the nearest train station and an okay walk to the mall area. service of the staff can be improved. But overall pleasant stay. Just that the hotel is location in an old area, so its difficult to push luggage, and there is some barriers and also stores on the main pedestrian way, so its very troublesome and diffcult to move our luggage. The space planning for the room can be done better for a room for 3 person.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We booked 2 rooms And the service was above expectation! Rooms was clean and quiet The staff 吕许一 陈瑞 付喻 龙小丽 helped us so much! Thank you! And there was others who was on duty which I didn’t get their names. I would choose to stay here again! The location is awesome as it’s close to all the local shops and night market for food and drinks. Breakfast is tasty and lots of option u can choose from. I also love the late breakfast option. Thank you for a wonderful experience! The staff also helped us to send some parcels And also assisted with luggage pick up and drop offs.

I knew the style in Kunming hostels is that the shower and basin areas are shared between men and women when booking, but got cold feet when I saw it for myself. Thankfully the staff helped me get a full refund for the paid dorm room so I could make a new booking for a single room instead. The location is good for folks who like to walk 1 to 2 km easy walking paths to attractions and train stations. The cleaning team was very good and cleaned my room well everyday. The single room provided 1 hair dryer, 2 toothbrush, 1 comb, 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 2 bottled water and 2 paper cups every day. 2 tea bags and 1 water boiler. There is also a room where you can take free hot water near the public washroom.  The attractions of walking distance is mostly to the north of the hostel, while the attractions in the south needs bus or train transport. Bring an umbrella and plastic slippers during summer for when you get caught in the lovely rain.  The hostel design theme is pub and bar, so expect alcohol and tobacco smell as you pass by the public space to reach your rooms. The pub/bar area is also where hostel visitors have their breakfast and mingle. There are plenty of nice roof top open air spaces and open air corridors as well. Overall a pleasant stay, but I would try another hostel if you dislike tobacco smell when having meals or when you want to mingle with other travellers.

Transportation is incredibly convenient, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. It features a classic Jiangnan garden and traditional quadrangle courtyard design, complete with white walls, dark gray tiles, and intricately carved window lattices. Every turn reveals a picturesque view, truly transporting you back to ancient times. Traditional Chinese elements are harmoniously blended with modern facilities. For instance, wooden lattice screens paired with warm lighting systems create an ambiance that is both elegant and inviting. The rooms showcase mahogany furniture, embroidered cushions, and blue-and-white porcelain tea sets, with every detail exuding an Oriental elegance. The bed canopy design, in particular, lends a distinctive palatial touch. The staff, impeccably dressed in traditional Chinese attire or modern suits, provide service that is as warm and attentive as a spring breeze, truly embodying traditional hospitality. Breakfast offers a delightful spread of freshly prepared congee, Xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), and the local specialty 'Guoqiao Mixian' (Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles), all accompanied by Kung Fu tea. It’s a truly hearty and comforting start to the day. Unlike generic business hotels, this place's unique Chinese style truly stands out. It's incredibly photogenic and offers a truly memorable experience.

This hotel boasts a prime downtown location, just a stone's throw from the pedestrian street and surrounded by numerous eateries. What's truly impressive is that despite being in such a bustling area, it remains remarkably quiet. The rooms were spotless and offered excellent value for money. We booked two rooms and stayed for two consecutive nights. We'd definitely choose this hotel again for future visits. I forgot to take any photos myself, but the rooms looked exactly like the ones shown in the hotel's official pictures.
