Stayed here for a night. The location is a little off because you cannot see Mt. Kinabalu anywhere, but you would find yourself surrounded by pine trees, which is also a point to add. You could hear the winds at night, a little scary but also serene at the same time. I would not be bothered by anything else except for the network. It was so slow during my stay, eventhough they provided the wifi. What is the point connecting to the wifi if you cannot use it anyway? Our phone network also did not work there, unfortunately. It’s a big concern because people would want to text, call their families and friends besides updating their social medias and making research for attractions etc. If the management team could figure this out and work for a better improvement on this issue, it would be great and more pleasurable to stay. Other than that, it was a good stay. Thank you!

Our stay here was absolutely magical! The weather was perfect—chilly and pleasant, with a nice breeze. Since we’re used to hot weather, it was like a dream come true. The reception area was huge and right next to it was a great restaurant that served delicious Nasi Goreng. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the resort itself was clean and well-maintained. The view was incredible! From our room on the Kinabalu Wing, we could see the majestic Mount Kinabalu. It was breathtaking! Just a heads up, the dirt and stone road leading to the resort is about 2.2 km long, and if you’re not used to it, it might be a bit bumpy. If you’re coming here for the first time, it’s best to arrive before dark. I’m definitely going back here again! Maybe next time, I’ll have a barbecue under the stars of Kinabalu. That would be epic!

Boring menu for breakfast in the morning ,only fried rice and noodles, and very poor internet, there it’s the wood house ,you can not sleep at night when stay under the long house , fist and last for me… 👎

The view is magnificent. You can see the mountain very clear at early morning. The road condition to this place is quite challenging for 2wd vehicle. Extra cafeful during drive is a must cause some of the road is steep and visibility during night is limited especially when its raining. Overall im satisfied with my stay.

The room is spacious and can accommodate up to 10 people. If you're going to hike Maragang Hill, this is one of the best place to stay.

This places very cool then we can see the clouds from our sides room in the morning… the view very nice… their staff very friendly… thank you Sunrise Recreaction hotel… till we meet again… nice places and nice view…

The toilet is so old! The outside of the house should be renovated even if it is not renovated! A lot of equipment is broken! How can I put it...it is more suitable for the local Malays to live! If it were me... I would never come back to this hotel again! !

An interesting and very satisfying place, I recommend that if you come to Kundasang, you can stay at this hotel. The view from this hotel is very attractive. If you don't stay here, the good staff always ask if you need help. Delicious food and drinks, beautiful and clean rooms with a beautiful panoramic view.

Although I have seen the pictures, I am still amazed by the garden. The environment and service are perfect. After dawn, there are various birds outside the house, which feels very similar to camping.
