Hotel views of mountain is good, rooms were cleaned. Only problem was we were all 60s so rooms given to us was way below the slope where we have to climb the stairs was quite steep. Tv reception was bad. Good for young couples.

The room was clean and the hot water was not too hot. But it is very close to the entrance of Mount Kinabalu, so it is very suitable for those who climb the mountain to stay for one night.

As a solo traveler, I always look for places where I can relax in peace, and Ayana was exactly that. It’s quiet, safe, and incredibly beautiful. I spent my mornings hiking nearby and my evenings reading a book with a warm drink on the balcony. It was the perfect place to clear my mind and just enjoy being in the moment.

We were impressed by how well-kept the resort was. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was comfortable enough to ensure a good night’s sleep. The wooden architecture gave it a rustic charm while still offering modern amenities. I really appreciated how peaceful it was at night, with nothing but the sounds of nature surrounding us. A perfect place to recharge and unwind.

Tucked away from the noise of the city, Ayana Holiday Resort gave us the peaceful retreat we were looking for. The surrounding greenery, fresh mountain air, and stunning sunrise views were simply breathtaking. Our room was cozy, and we loved sipping tea on the balcony while enjoying the scenery. The staff were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back for another relaxing getaway!
