PROS: Quiet location, a 10-minute walk from the river. Room is large enough with a large window overlooking the 'forest' of ancient trees (a picture-perfect view!). Friendly staff. Good Western breakfast. Many amenities: restaurant and bar (no alcohol), luggage storage, 24-hour reception, tour agency...
CONS: Cleanliness could be improved (a problem throughout Borneo). Pricey for what you get (especially compared to the rest of Southeast Asia).

Stay for one night. Their furniture was old and the bathroom for the shower was a little bit small. For breakfast, it's basic but it fulfills my stomach. The staff was nice from the receptionist to cafe. Thank you.
