Hotels near I Love U Beach, Kuala Terengganu

Location wise, it is a little far from many places. Nearest beach is 20 minutes walk away, and nothing to shout about. Better beaches or diving spots would require a boat ride which is not always readily available and costly. Upon arrival, pick up from jetty cost rm10 per person. And it is not really optional because it is 3km away. Check in was a breeze and managed to get an early check in for a good rest. The room has ants roaming around and some gets on your bed. If you are not all squimish about bugs, i just kill them and sleep. Didnt try the food here as the buffet seem really plain and not cheap. Drinking Water is provided in the lobby but limited amount as it always runs out. Aircond is cool enough and the room has hot water for shower. Environment is good but definitely much to improve on. No alcohol anywhere nearby but there is a stall right outside the hotel which makes good milkshakes and coconut and teatime food. Not a good place if you want to be near the beach. But an ok place if you like nature and want both beach and nature.

Amazing. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely go back at some point and can’t wait. It was heaven on earth. The views, the beach the sea are worth every Penny. Absolutely amazing. But the staff are wonderful. So friendly, helpful and kind. Everyone of them. The rooms are brilliant. Nice and fresh and clean, Amazing size. Great design a vibe to the whole place. Located in an isolated part of the island it is best suited for those seeking a quiet time. One 3km paved road leads to Teluk Dalam beach. They do offer a boat service to Long beach. General boat services are very expensive. I found all the staff friendly and helpful. I made a prepaid booking two months in advance and was allocated one of their best sea view rooms as a result. The resort overall is still in pretty good shape given its age. My room was modern looking and decent size. Fitted out with a wardrobe, desks and chairs. The aircon, fridge and TV (with english movie channels) all worked just fine. The lighting was adequate but poor over the work desk. The bed had clean linens and afforded me a comfortable sleep. The bathroom had a segregated shower with hot water and decent watet pressure. As you would expect, toiletries were provided. The balcony had a table and two chairs. Nice to sit and relax particularly when there was a slight sea breeze. The food at the restaurant was okay albeit pricey. I found it amusing that at the free buffet breakfast the Malaysian guests would pile in but come dinner time no where to be seen. Overall, even though this resort was not my first choice, I think it was a blessing in disguise as Long beach was packed with tourists.

The resort and the beach are both beautiful. Everything went smooth till for check in. After arrived at resort, 11.30am-they served welcome drink-need to register. Later, we can eat lunch 12pm while waiting for the room groom. After finish room is not ready yet while other guest all got their rooms. We got our room at near 4pm. then need to check out before 10am tmr. Can you imagined waiting at lobby for couple hours. Bcs of that, we missed our first snorkling trip, since trip begin 3.30pm. Snorkeling trip too crowded. Packed with ppls. All guests are snorkeling at same check point at same time. Including other hotel's guests. For meal, they recook unfinished food. Morning-lamb grill, lunch-lamb black paper, dinner-lamb black paper mixed with vege. Same goes to their baked beans.

With no presence of 5 star hotels in Kuala Terengganu, I had to find the best alternative. I was lucky to find Valya Hotel, situated in an area called Gong Badak. If you are having a hard time finding the perfect hotel, I think your search should end with this hotel. Look, I am someone who values good quality and top rated hotels for a comfortable stay. This hotel has many of the things I was looking for: - Free WiFi - Elevator - Close to shops, eateries, convenience stores (e.g. Jakel, Mydin, Watsons, 7-11, pharmacy etc) - Close to airport (less than 10 minutes) - Basic bath amenities and in-room slippers provided (towels, toothbrush are available) - Strong rain shower pressure, proper bidet These factors would suffice to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience. The price point is extremely affordable. I booked a Superior Triple room with window. Although there is no ”view” from the window, you can still have some light shining through, for a less claustrophobic environment. Other things that were missing, but acceptable at the price you are paying: - No breakfast - No in-room safe - No dedicated parking space for hotel guests (more on this below) - No view from window (as mentioned) My main gripe will be parking, as mentioned by other guests who reviewed this property as well. As there are many shophouses, you should expect a chaotic and congested area full of vehicles during the day. Parking is chargeable at RM0.60 per hour, and you can pay for parking at the various stations around the parking lot, with some not functioning at all. It is a challenge to find space close to the hotel, and you will end up having to move your car closer to your hotel when the congestion clears up in the evening. Another plus staying here will be a self service laundromat on the other side of the row of shophouses. Overall, Valya Hotel is a perfect hotel for a comfortable stay in Terengganu. You can reach the city centre in mere minutes, and the airport is within close proximity. Highly recommended!

Booking bilik superior king room 3d 2n (no window). Tapi boleh request nak katil king/twins single. I request 2 single bed tpi yg ni dapat yg ada window (mengadap ke depan) . Love the aesthetically design/style but cannot with their shower soap/shampoo. Can smell good and bad at the same time. Kadang ii bau okay herbs ii star anise. Kadang ii bila buka part toilet tu bau mcm public toilet dkt rnr. Cadar/blacket ada coklat mark gitu. Maybe tk hilang walaupun dh basuh. Nth la. Tak selesa nak solat very sempit ruang untuk solat sebelah singki hijau tu ha. Mula ii dpt bilik 209 pastu 4pg mcmtu staff bg tukar bilik 210 sbb aircond tkjdi kt bilik 209. Sampai berpeluh peluh tidur malam sbb dia auto. Kita tkleh adjust temp. Lastly, room tiles. Tengoklah sendiri. Tbh not recommended for u to go with friends ke sape ii sbb bilik air tu boleh nampak dri luar kau mandi. Indah khabar dari rupa. Tapi staff baik je. Oh satu lg kalau amik bilik mcmni susah sikit la nak makan dlm bilik sbb kerusi meja dia sambungan dri kepala katil tuje. Recommend duduk 18suites, cheaper, bersih, ada meja nak makan, a bit luas berbanding payang. Air coway pun disediakan ktsana.

Friendly staff including receptionist, waitress and waiter, and car park security. Considering the low price, value for room and the most awesome thing is the room came with buffet breakfast for 3 persons, and the breakfast was really good! Overall experience is good.

Good location, great staff, I got a room at the end of the block, the WiFi basically doesn't work at that area
