Receptionist was not courteous and insisted that the extra bed wasn't available although prior informed during booking. She insisted that I pay for an extra room instead. Its a rip off. It's okay to charge for the beds but not forcibly make the Guests take another room instead clearly when the additional beds are for children

Very good location just 5 mins to the beach and there are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. It is along the famous Aonang street. It surprisingly quiet despite being along a busy street.

Not the first time staying at this hotel. What I like:
- location. As close as possible to boats, shops, entertainment. At the same time, there is normal parking for bikes and it is quite quiet in the rooms (or so I found)
- a fairly large balcony, convenient for smokers.
What I don't like:
- extremely poor service: no robes, no slippers, no toothpaste, basically nothing except towels and shampoo/soap that are attached in large cylinders in the shower
- I got a room with very dim lighting, friends lived nearby, everything was fine with light
No rating: the hotel has a swimming pool, it is formally located in the neighboring hotel, but I have never been there. Beach towels are also provided in the neighboring hotel

Bedsheet had blood stains. They provided only one big towel and no face towel. Housekeeping didn’t change the bedsheets. Location and views are nice though. Not worth the price tbh.

I stayed in Wake Up Aonang for two nights. The first night was bad, there was a lot of noise coming from a generator or something in the middle of the night, also the room we got had dirty sheets, towels and clogged shower. At the night around 10 pm there was no one to talk to in the reception to ask for some toilet paper...
The morning after, the staff changed our room, this time everything worked smoothly, the sheets and towels were clean, no clog in the shower and quite.
The hotel itself is in a prime location, about 3 minutes walk and you're in the beach. You're allowed to use the swimming pool in the resort next door. Also I found the price as good value for money (Krabi is quite expensive when you compare it to different parts of thailand).
Overall if not for the experience of the first night, I would have gave this hotel a rank of 9/10. Because of the first night the hotel would get 5/10.
Outside of the hotel there is a station for motorbike taxi which is very helpful. Don't forget to haggle for the price.
