The location is a bit far from Ao Nang beach. So less halal food options to find. Only one restaurant near for halal food (walkable). But the hotel served a very basic and simple halal breakfast option. Walkable to 7E and the beach is a door away from the room. Nice ambiance, clean beach. Recommended for those looking for relaxing nights away from crowds.

The room is spacious, quiet, good. The accommodation is right next to the sea. Just walk out of the room just a few steps. Most of the customers are foreigners. Near the accommodation there is a restaurant by the sea as well. Not far from the accommodation, there are seven. It's all convenient.

Im Februar 2024 waren wir schon einmal im Bliss Resort und waren damals völlig angetan. Zum Jahr 2025 hat sich Vieles verändert – Zum NEGATIVEN! Hier muss der Besitzer gewechselt haben oder Irgendwas in dieser Art. Wir haben, wie im vorigen Jahr das Zimmer zur Straße extra per Mailkontakt vorher ausgewählt. Und siehe da, man hat einfach vor den Balkon eine Holzhütte davor gezimmert. Balkonblick ins Grüne … gibt es nicht mehr … grauenvoll. Hier werden Küchenutensilien fürs Backen von Pizza für den Straßenverkauf und für das Restaurant aufbewahrt. Vorher war in diesem Bereich ein einladender, wundervoller kleiner Gartenbereich (siehe Fotos 2024 und 2025). Nun ist es ein sinnlos wirkender Bereich, der überhaupt Nichts mehr mit dem vorigen Jahr und Gartenbereich gemein hat. Die Zimmer unten im Durchgangsbereich zum Strand sind nicht mehr empfehlenswert (Foto). Es laufen fremde Menschen durch, die nicht zum Hotel gehören und einfach zur nun, am Strand befindlichen Pizzeria möchten. Früher war unten am Hotel eine Terrasse über die man zum Strand gelangte. Auch die ist nicht mehr. Ja … Man sitzt beim Frühstück immer noch am Strand. Gott sei Dank hat sich das nicht geändert. Aber die Tische werden ab ca. 11:00 Uhr umgebaut zur Pizzeria. Früher wurden diese Tische weggeräumt und dadurch Platz für die Liegen am Strand frei gemacht. Die Terrasse ist zu einer Küche umgebaut worden. Die unteren Zimmer haben dadurch überhaupt gar keinen einladenden Blick mehr aus ihrem Zimmer im Durchgangsbereich und es wird früh natürlich zeitig laut. Das ist unansehnlich gegenüber früher, laut und wenn man als Gast der Unterkunft dort nicht isst, wird man regelrecht ignoriert. Sorry GINA… Ich sitze keine 12 h im Flieger, um dann Pizza zu essen. Durch den Umbau zur Pizzeria gab es auch eine gravierende Änderung am Strand … Vorher war richtig viel Platz zum im Schatten liegen am Strand vorhanden (Fotos 24 und 25). Nun ist man als Unterkunftsgast auf einem kleinen Stück Strand zusammengepfercht und sitzt sich regelrecht auf der Pelle, weil der riesige Baum, der früher über den ganzen Tag Schatten gab, nun genutzt wird, um den Gästen der Pizzeria den besten Schattenplatz zu ermöglichen. Und ob die Pizza gut ist oder nicht … Die Pizzapreise sind unverschämt. In den ersten 3 Tagen bekamen wir zum Frühstück Kaffee Americano aus der Maschine. Danach dann Schluss mit Lustig. Durch die Besitzerin Gina wurde uns ab dem 4. Frühstück mitgeteilt, dass es nur noch Instantkaffee für Nichtzahler des Frühstücks gibt. ABER … Ich bin kein Nichtzahler gewesen. Ich habe einen Aufpreis bei Buchung des Zimmers mit Frühstück bezahlt. Tja und das Frühstück … Geht am Besten schon kurz nach 08:00 Uhr Frühstücken … Unglaublich … da findet sich dann auch mal Lachs und Wurst beim Frühstück. Ab 09:15 Uhr wird nicht mehr aufgefüllt bzw. nur dann, wenn sich fremde Gäste zur Zahlung des Frühstücks von Außerhaus dazugesetzt haben. Dann füllt man auch mal wieder auf. New owners are treating it like a tourist hot spot and cat calling people walking by the street every second of the day to come and eat at this make shift pizza shack that has been built. I know because it’s all you can hear every minute of the day. We never tried the Pizzas as my partner was GF and every time I asked has she got any GF pizza left, she would say we are sold old for today real busy. Gina forgets that we are on the balcony above the restaurant all day watching nobody eat there all day and we ask about 16:00 in the afternoon and she still says no? False advertising as she claims to have the best GF pizzas and we never got one even when she had no customers. We ended up staying in our rooms most of the time to try and avoid her. Every time we went out and came back, Gina or her restaurant staff would ask us “where you going?” “Where you been?” “What you brought?” Always trying to look in our bags as if to say why aren’t you eating in our restaurant? I can’t tell you how many times I looked down and notice them watching us and listening in on our conversation from our balcony. They would be up all night until 3am blasting music and Spotify ads all down the beach. It felt like I was in a frat house my whole holiday. And 200 baht each for breakfast everyday? What a joke…. We never paid it was she was only putting cereal out and some watermelon. There is a small storage room with a toilet in the maids use next to the 3 rooms you can rent. She is open it up as a public use toilet for her restaurant. So you have no peace outside your rooms door. Screaming kids, loud farts, other delightful toilet sounds and I even heard a guy being sick all outside my bedroom door. Let’s not even talk about the cockroach’s outside the front of rooms. One came under the door and I’m so glad I was in the room to witness it dart straight over to the bed. That was the final straw. That made us just pack up and leave. The family who owns this place need to get rid of Gina and her friend as they were running it perfectly before she turned it into a mess. I would love to see it put back to how it was last year. There were no rats or roaches before Ginas time. It must be to do with the make shift pizza restaurant because the smell is not pleasant and there is so much rubbish being left out the place to attract them all. Gina. It’s not Bangkok can you please remember that Klong Muang and it’s people are a peaceful and respectful community. Trust me when I say they don’t appreciate what you have done to the beach front. For someone who knew what it was like before and now has seen what it has become. It’s heartbreaking

Arrivés à cet hôtel l’accueil a été fait par une dame de ménage qui nous montre de la main notre chambre il faut reconnaître assez spacieuse et jolie mais donnant sur la route, je demande si il y a une chambre avec vue mer et la dame ne comprend pas mon Anglais et appelle une personne qui je suppose est la responsable, je lui repose la question elle me répond « no possible full »elle repart et ne nous donne aucune information nous devinons que le restaurant est en bas en bord de plage quand la mariée est haute sinon beaucoup de cailloux. Nous nous estimons heureux d’avoir eu cette chambre quand nous avons vu plusieurs personnes dépitées quand elles ont vu la leurs,au sous-sol ,passage pour la plage et le restaurant un couloir sombre avec le bruit et la chaleur des Clim des chambres du dessus ,ces chambres sont en face à face donc obligé de laisser les rideaux fermés et rester dans le noir donc si vous êtes claustrophobes attention pas de fenêtre. Très déçu de cet hôtel et de l’accueil heureusement le personnel est très gentil. Le dernier jour après avoir passé quatre nuits, nous attendions le taxi pour notre transfert, le patron est passé devant nous en maillot de bain pour aller aux wc nous demande si nous arrivons 🙁🤪🤣🤣🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

As a family we have been coming to Bliss for 8 years under the owners, however, the Kundees unfortunately sold a 10year lease to Gina. Our daughter was planning to get married there but Gina is only interested in passing unsuspecting trade after completely ruining our last 2 month stay trying to change prices we had agreed on, opening up a public toilet right outside our room where one of her customers to her restaurant was violently throwing up. Her ‘make shift restaurant’ produced overpriced mediocre food and drink and spoilt the view and ambience of what was once beautiful. Masses of cockroaches around her Pizza Hut with bad smells intermittently. My husband also witnessed Gina aggressively confront and chase after a customer to her ‘restaurant’ after she accused them of not paying to a supposedly’free’ opening night, really shocking but if you read reviews from her place in Bangkok, this is her normal practice. Our daughter & partner who joined us for 2 weeks were made to vacate their room after it was confirmed as booked, so they left, Gina did not care. She also constantly criticised the extended family of the kundees at The Parlour next door and also other long term returning guests who were upset. Her staff pointed out rats scurrying along the building. It is fair to say that Gina is not an honest business woman and we can only hope that the owner revokes her lease. Very upsetting stay and whilst she is still there we will not return. Very sad.
