Hotel Villa Duomo

If I could leave negative stars I would. Extremely important detail - this hotel falsely advertises itself as 4-STAR!!!! 1) Reception looks like a cashier counter of a village cafe - NOT 4 STAR! Sure you can be small if you are a boutique but this is far from it. 2) The receptionist was arguing with me, telling me to go somewhere else and no help offered with the heavy bags of my elderly mother. NOT 4 STAR at all. 3) There is no private parking offered by this supposed 4 STAR hotel. I checked nearby other 4 star hotels - Hotel Monte Cristo, Royal House, Kazin Supreme all offer private parking for the convenience of the guests. 4) It was a nightmare to get in touch with the hotel, the reception phone was always busy, not responding to messages. When I arrived after looking for a parking for an hour, nearly getting into an accident. The receptionist was gaslighting me that no hotel offers private parking, disgusting lie!!! Then when I challenged her on the fact this is supposed to be 4 STAR hotel she said, don’t stay here then - but they refused to let me cancel without charging me. 5) Cleaning standard is poor. Attached photos of an extremely dusty surface and limescale all over bathroom amenities. AGAIN, not what you would see in real 4 STAR hotels. 6) Flimsy and ugly clothes hanger, again such unsightly thing wouldn’t be seen in any self respecting hotel - maybe dodgy cheap Airbnb, which what this is. So in the end I had a massive inconvenience and displeasure of getting into this fake 4 STAR, almost wrecked the car while at it, to be greeted by untrained staff with their local bakery attitude receptionists, that tell me that I am free to go but only after paying them for this massive PITA experience. Unbelievable, what really gets me is not the lack of parking is the audacity to CLAIM this is a 4 STAR HOTEL! It is an absolutely disgusting scam! This hotel does not deserve being called 4 STAR, this is fraud!!!! Being 4 STAR comes with 4 STAR consideration of guests needs, not 1 STAR inconvenience of staying through the pain and discomfort!

Amazing place to stay, right near main square in Kotor. Clean room with great view and an excellent value. Very responsive and kind staff.

A nice quiet room. The dining area was outside and it did not have a heater so it was very cold. The selection of food was very basic and the same each day, no selection for vegetarian, no milk alternatives, ok but basic like a 3* hotel in Italy it reminded me of. The breakfast lady was lovely but she was cold also. The room was spacious and nice. Although it had a jacuzzi bath, the jacuzzi didnt work and the sink leaked from the tap. Some i.provements needed and it could be a lovely hotel stay. Our 4* hotel in Dubrovnik was much better although we did prefer the location of Kotor.

BANYOLAR VE ODA ÇOK PİSTİ Otel konum olarak tam merkezde ama temel hizmetleri bile alamadığın bir otelde konumun çok bir önemi kalmıyor maalesef. Öncelikle personel yok, asansör sadece 2 kat için çalışıyor. Girişten itibaren bir sürü merdiven çıkmak zorundasınız valizlerinizle ve yardım edecek personelleri de yok. Odada banyo giderleri bozuk. Küvetin içi, lavabo saç dolu wcleri inanılmaz pisti 2 odanın ikisi de inanılmaz pisti. Önceki misafirlerin kullandığı bardaklar bile odadaydı. Personel iletişimi çok zayıf asla çözüm odaklı değiller. Oda pis diyoruz verilen cevap ise “üzgünüm” giderken de bir dahaki konaklamaya %50 indirim verdiler ama maalesef bir daha tercih etmem söz konusu değil.

A unique boutique hotel. The rooms are spacious and located right in the heart of old town. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions, suggestions for restaurants and coordinating transportation from the airport.
