We have just returned from a week at this hotel, and I’m pleased to report that we had a fantastic time. The short transfer from airport to hotel of c. 15 mins is very convenient, but very limited flight noise of planes to and from the airport during our stay did not affect us. The location of the hotel feels secluded, whilst the accommodation is arranged to make the most of the sea views, and the sunsets over the sea at night are stunning. Food was good, with a decent selection at each meal time and well cooked. A personal preference would have been for a few more Greek options. Both bars were well staffed, so queuing for drinks and snacks never an issue. Daily maid service was excellent, including fresh towels plus pool towels. Sun longer options were 3 fold, by the pool near the bar and musical background, or either on the sun terrace or on the beach where the background noise for both was breaking waves on the shoreline. Whilst the location, accommodation, food and facilities were all good, the highlight to me was how warm, friendly and attentive ALL the staff were, they created the environment for a wonderful holiday. One observation, a personal preference rather than criticism. The buffet style dining experience worked well for breakfasts and lunch times on an “in and out” basis. However with our evening meal we ordinarily like to make this more of an event and take our time, not really suited to an environment where through put of guests is a priority and speed is a perceived quality. Overall, a fantastic break at a reasonable price, well worth the 5 star rating I am giving it.

Just returned from a lovely relaxing stay at the Ammos. The room was clean and modern and the pool area spacious with plenty of sun beds. We always managed to find somewhere despite not being poolside at 9am! The food was good there was always something nice to eat. The location is beautiful and quiet . The mile walk along the coastal path to the nearest village was perfect for a daily stroll with wonderful views. We hired a car for a couple of days from the desk in the hotel which was excellent value. A few minor criticisms- the only English speaking tv channel was the news . Access to you tube or the ability to use your own Netflix would be better. More frequent linen changes - the towels were changed only once and the bed sheets were not changed for the week. For the price paid it was excellent value and we thoroughly enjoyed a week in the sun. Would recommend.

Relaxing break for a week with family and our 7 year old. Hotels interior is modern and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are abit snug with a 7 year old and suitcases. But clean and comfortable to stay in. Showers were decent. Pools are fresh water so chilly at times. But nice for refreshing dip. Private beach is nice to mix up the days there but needs staff to maintain as covered in seaweed and stones would look lovely if presented with abit of care. Food and drinks good but did feel the buffet got abit repetitive for the week. We ate out at the al la carte menu which was Greek cuisine which was nice. And the dolphin bay taverna down the road which is located by the next beach and had lovely meal there. We rented a car from hotel and visited Kos old town which was lovely and recommend. Overall was nice if you want a relaxing break away from tourist city spots.

We stayed at Ammos Resort in Kos from 21–26 May and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was spotless, well-maintained, and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere - exactly what we were hoping for. The staff were all very friendly and professional, and we’d like to give a special mention to Maria at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. She really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. There was a great variety of food at every meal, with something for everyone - local Greek dishes, fresh salads, veg, meats, chicken and plenty of international options. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We also took advantage of the spa treatments, and the massages were excellent- very relaxing and professionally done. A lovely added touch to our stay. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything we needed. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool, which was peaceful and never overcrowded. Overall, we had a truly relaxing break and would highly recommend Ammos Resort to anyone visiting Kos. We would definitely return!

Ammos Resort is in a very remote area, wouldn't say a family location. The views to the sea were breathtaking . Lovely and quiet around the pool area. Plenty sunbeds, well spaced out. Hotel its self is well maintained, think maybe the renovations are not complete, just cosmetic more than anything. Rooms lovely bed comfortable. . No drawers for items of clothing just open shelving only one wardrobe sliding door so either all your hanging items are on display or clothing on shelving . Only 4 coat hangers in wardrobe. Staff are the friendliest people I've met Christina, Alex and Thalasis to name a few. Nothing is to much trouble. My only negative point is the Food. States American style buffet breakfast,usually pancakes etc didn't see any the entire week. The food for lunch and Dinner is so repetitive pork ,chicken and veal casseroles and NEVER HOT. Plenty salads but nothing to go with it like cold cuts (plenty on breakfast buffet) Only option I saw for children would be pasta and sauce or chips, yet again COLD. Sandwiches down at pool bar were out in the heat all day not good. The standard of food was very basic for a 4 Star Hotel. If you bring the food to a better,hotter standard this hotel would be amazing.

Great holiday. Hotel and room 5 star. Fantastic pool and pool bar. Nice beach. Very quiet location. Food was good and all inclusive meant the drinks were nice too! The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The room was better than one we had stayed in on a SAGA cruise! We will definitely be back again.

Sadly my holiday today comes to an end. My first time in Kos and what a wonderful experience I had from hotel cleanliness , politeness from all the staff and everyone was so keen to help you if you needed it. The food was lovely and a different variety to suit needs. We hired a quad for a few days which was easy to sort and location was perfect in the middle of different villages a short walk/ drive to. I will 100% recommend and would love to come back

We have just returned from a week at The Ammo’s luxury resort. It is a small boutique hotel. Great service, fantastic staff, clean, quiet and truly a relaxing place to spend a week. The small village of Mastichari is a 20-30 minute walk along the beach path and definitely worth a visit. So is a ferry ride over to Kalymnos - 10€ and only 30 minutes. A special mention goes out to Peter in the spa. We booked a massage and as a therapist myself of over 23 years experience, this was the best hotel spa massage I have ever experienced. Do not be put off by the remote location, it serves to enhance its appeal.
