Ammos Luxury Resort

We arrived midnight at the hotel only to be told there was no room available and we were sent to a nearby hotel for the night. That hotel made us check out at 10am and sent us back to Ammos but there was still no room and this was the case until 3pm. This happened to quite a few other guests as well. However reception were very apologetic and gave us a room upgrade to a beautiful sea view room. We were given a bottle of champagne and fruit platter as well which was lovely (although housekeeping removed our champagne glasses before we even opened the bottle) Food was excellent- could not fault it and a really good variety. I'm vegetarian and ate really well all week. It was my husband's birthday whilst there and a cake was put in our room which was a really nice touch. (Bit annoying that housekeeping then removed the plates and works before we had a chance to eat the cake!) They never replenished the instant coffee and tea or the milk for these drinks and never gave us clean cups or glasses. That said the room was otherwise spotless, very spacious and had a lovely balcony which we really enjoyed. Particularly enjoyed the rainfall shower. Bar staff were brilliant big shout out to Cristina and Myra at the pool bar. Animation Team were best we've ever known. Great fun and engaging without being pushy. We loved the Boccea best. Water gym was great fun. Reception were lovely and very helpful with all queries. We had a late evening pick up to go home They gave us the courtesy room all day free because of the issues we had on day 1 and this was much appreciated. I booked a facial in the Spa on my last day, and it was fabulous. My skin felt great for days afterwards. Thank you Asimina. All in all a great holiday in a lovely hotel. Just need to overcome the room availability issues and it would be absolutely perfect.

Arrived at 1am to be told we had to go to another hotel for couple of days as the room was not available ,,, you have to buy certain drinks and food,, so not all inclusive ,, the cleaners don’t even clean the balcony’s ,,, this is not 5* more like a 3 , rooms are the only good thing ,,,

We met Christina at the poolside evening bar and she is so vibrant, adventurous and such a lovely lady. She made our holiday in the Ammos so lovely that we had the best time ever. She is the best no doubt at all and so lovely we wish we could take her home with us. Entertaining and enjoyable all of the time.

Our stay at Ammos was a magnificent experience. The resort is clean, beautiful and not so busy. Perfect place for a holiday! Much of that was thanks to an amazing bartender Christina! She’s always smiling, always happy to chat with you. I’ll never forget our stay at Ammos, she made my birthday feel so special with the cake and whole restaurant singing happy birthday to me. Truly wholesome human, so grateful for having a chance to meet you!

An excellent hotel for comfort and relaxation. There is everything you need, great food, luxury rooms, the beach, an incredible spa with lots of treatments. And a wonderful entertainment team with a program filled with fitness activities and various sport activities. Stretching and spa in the mornings was a highlight for us as well as Aquagym!! So much fun. All staff are incredibly friendly and super helpful, going out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We would definitely come back and hope to see these wonderful people again.

As with others, the start of our holiday was not good at all. On arrival (early hours of the morning) we were told there is a problem with plumbing, so moved to another hotel. The room there was smelly, no aircon with a view from the window of hotel walls. Not quite the deluxe sea view booked. This seems to be common at this hotel, we have now spoken to 3 others who had a similar experience. Having said that, we got back to the Ammos early the following day, room still not ready!! Once accommodated, after lunch, we had a great room. The hotel itself is very nice and staff are pleasant. However it appears the room issue is common..... is it caused by the hotel accepting bookings when it really does not have rooms?? A couple of staff say it happens often.
